“My family enjoyed this house! Everything was immaculate!! The kitchen was very well-equipped, and the furnishings were comfortable. Check-in was a breeze, and the owner was very responsive and helpful. I was initially worried that the location was a little too far out of the way, but it was a great launching spot for our day trips up and down the Maine coast, while still being accessible to Acadia/MDI. And, the peace and tranquility of this house provided the perfect ending for our busy days....

“Spruce chalet was great little spot to stay in Acadia for our 3 teen (14, 14, and 16)boys and us. Close to the park and downtown Bar Harbor. Great water views! The house really had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked. Peter was very responsive for anything that came up. ”

“As soon as we walked in and saw the views over the bay in the back, we were in love! Sunsets were gorgeous! The back deck was welcoming and a great place for gathering. The inside of the house was beautifully decorated, well-organized, equipped with everything anyone would need, had plenty of games and fun for family/friends, and was so clean! Instead of staying in the crowds at Bar Harbor after Acadia, we chose to come back to this peaceful place in the woods to have happy hour and dinner in...

“Our stay at the chalet was the most peaceful and relaxing part of our trip. The place was spotless, the host (Alice) thought of every detail, the chalet was spotless, and we really enjoyed the outdoor firepit. The views from out back were amazing; although, a bit unfortunate that we were socked in with fog many of the days we were there.Would recommend this chalet if you are interested in visiting area towns, Acadia or just want to relax in a beautiful spot!”
