“A great place if you wana drive down the night before your cruise as its close to the terminal! Nice freindly staff, food exellent! The room was basic but clean as was the bathroom. We where in a downstairs room so we had noisy upstairs occupants so when they walked across the room you could hear the footsteps and floorboards creaking! Fire alarm went off in the early hours but that cant be helped! Not a bad stay and i would stay there again. Highly recommend the fish&chips👌”

“Wonderful place to stay! Jean, the hostess, is an absolute delight. From the moment of our reservation she handled all of our needs and wishes with efficiency, warmth and charm. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the rooms, though older in vintage, are very clean, comfortable, nicely appointed and quite quiet. The nearby village (short walk) is charming, with a variety of excellent dining options. All in all, Otters Green is one of the best accommodation values we have experience...

“ Alovely lovely place to stay and we Will stay again ,loved that the floors are wonky but what do do expect just full of character loved it . A heads up my partner is 6ft the shower was a little on the small size .. the room was slightly smaller than we expected . The people are lovely can’t fault it at all , food was lovely enjoyed the crab especially … it was b+b shame we were not offered a cold takeaway brekkie as sadly we were leaving before breakfast was served . “We stayed at the Ropemaker for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. We had a lovely king-size bed that was very comfortable. The room had a portable air conditioning unit that kept it very cool, which we appreciated. However, it is noisy at night. The outdoor bar area is super cute and has little cabanas that seat about 4 guests. We'll definitely stay here again.”

“Nice room, but shower tiles grubby, stains on ceiling in bathroom and shower shamppo holder was very dirty. Chair in room was badly stained, light switches - some worked some didn't with intermittent flickering. Beautiful old floor standing mirror however the tilt would only stay at floor view so could only see from knees down unless was held or you knelt on the floor ”
