Questo è un posto perfetto per le tue vacanze o semplicemente per un weekend. Si trova a soli 90 miglia o 90 minuti da New York City in una comunità tranquilla e ricca di servizi. C'è un letto matrimoniale della California, due letti queen size, un letto matrimoniale e due letti singoli attraverso le camere da letto.

Durante tutto l'anno puoi goderti i parchi acquatici Aquatopia e Kalahari, il Crossing Outlet Mall e altri centri commerciali nelle vicinanze della casa. Il cinema multisala si trova in uno dei centri commerciali, quindi è possibile una serata al cinema se si ritiene che lo schermo del proiettore da 130 "in casa sia solo un po 'troppo piccolo.

In estate ci si può divertire al parco acquatico all'aperto di Camel Beach, così come due grandi piscine comunitarie, la spiaggia del lago e diversi campi da gioco per bambini.

Attività invernali come la stazione sciistica di Camelback Mountain e la stazione sciistica di Shawnee Mountain sono facilmente raggiungibili in auto in 15-20 minuti. Blue Mountain Ski Resort è anche facilmente raggiungibile in auto circa 40 minuti da casa.

La casa è dotata di tutti i nuovi elettrodomestici da cucina tra cui lavastoviglie, microonde, macchina per il caffè, forno tostapane e altro ancora. Se ti piace cucinare fuori, c'è un grande barbecue sul ponte. Lavatrice e asciugatrice è inoltre disponibile per l'uso.

Amanti della musica e del cinema, questa casa è per te. L'area soggiorno presenta lo schermo per proiettore 139 "summenzionato. XBOX 360, lettori CD e DVD e persino un giradischi in vinile. C'è ovviamente una TV a schermo piatto, una connessione internet nel soggiorno e una nella camera matrimoniale.

La community è piena di servizi. Ci sono 2 piscine, campi da tennis, campi da basket, campi da pallavolo, lago con piscina e parco giochi per bambini e un lago dove si può pescare.

Per coloro che si occupano di sicurezza, nessuna preoccupazione. A 10 minuti in auto da casa, ci sono poche strutture per le cure urgenti e un ospedale nuovo di zecca.

Third stay at Pocono house

This was our third stay at this house. Kids keep wanting to go back--they love it! Very tranquil. For nature-lovers, house is to close to Bushkill Falls, Delaware Water Gap, Big Pocono State Park (if you're really adventurous, the Appalachian Trail is up there too). We haven't hit the ski slopes or water parks, but they're also close to the house.This VRBO house has 160 reviews! Hope it's still available for the foreseeable future--my kids were already talking about going back on the drive home.

Great House

We had four adults and two kids. There wasn't enough room for all of us to stretch out on the sofa. The master bathroom rain shower head was not working. The spigot was broken off. The ice maker in the fridge wasn't working and the ice tray was broken. The fridge door wouldn't hold anything without the guard falling off and everything falling out of the fridge. The motion detecting light outside by the front door kept flashing some nights. The neighbors were very loud and obnoxious. The pool was closed two of the days we were there due to them working on electrical issues. The lake was closed one day due to high E. coli levels which was a little scary and gross as we’d swam in it a couple days prior. Registering with the community was a pain in the butt. These were all very minor inconveniences and nothing to deter staying at this beautiful home. The projector screen was sweet. The master bed was insanely comfortable. There is a Keurig. The deer were magical. The firepit was awesome, especially since the week we went was unusually chilly. The rain shower upstairs was heavenly. The location of the house was great. Once registered getting in and out of the community was a breeze. Communicating with the owners was very easy. There are many adventures to get into. It was our best family vacation ever. Both relaxing and fun. Rejuvenating and we hope to return in the future.

Easy to get in and out. Sandbox was not useable. Need better quality sand. Need more dishes. Nice outdoor area. Enjoyed lake & pool area. Needs better cleaning in some areas like lights and trim. Overall, would recommend.

Poconos trip for Family Wedding

Owner was very communicative, helped me with what I needed to pack. Adequate space for 7+ adults. Could use just a little more silverware and fry pans. Lovely deck and deer every day!! Features that were handy but we did not need to use: fireplace, grill, fire pit, jacuzzi tub. Peaceful and beautiful neighborhood! Close to a lot! Thanks Tom!!

Another tranquil stay

This was our second stay at this house. We had such a pleasant time three years ago, the family insisted we go back to the Poconos and stay in the same house. The Poconos are peaceful, serene and clean, and this house is very modern and elegantly furnished. We used the community pool and rec center, hiked at Bushkill Falls and nearby Big Pocono State Park (highly recommend both). The consensus of five-star reviews pretty much says it all. Hope to stay there again some day in the future. Thanks again Tom & Olga!

Relaxing getaway in the mountains

This property provided plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun. Our family enjoyed the outdoor eating area every night, the fire pit for s’mores, the nearby lake & pool areas for water fun, and our kids loved the playground out back (including daily visits from a deer family). We also enjoyed some hiking nearby. The weather was perfect for all our outdoor activities.

What we experienced

Mattresses were comfy. Wi-Fi was good. Unfortunately, a culmination of poor housekeeping, neglected home maintenance, and a live wood tick in the master bedroom led to a lack of confidence that the European style bedding with no top sheets was actually clean. We left 2 nights early. Discussed with the owner after the fact, not asking or expecting anything. He was polite. He had explanations for most everything and assured us that the bedding was clean, but ultimately said I was at fault for not notifying him on the night we arrived. We were on vacation, and we didn’t want to spend any amount of time having to confront the housekeeper or owner.

Perfect Spot!!!

We were a group of HS friends age 60+ coming together for the wedding of one friend's daughter at Stroudmour Inn. The house was perfect for what we needed and owners Tom and Olga thought of everything imaginable to make our stay easy and comfortable. Would recommend and would rent again on a heart beat!!!!
