Winter Family Fun in the Pocono Mountains

Bring the whole family to this great place at Shawnee on the Delaware in the Pocono mountains, with lots of room for fun. The units are all villas, offering you the utmost comfort in a homey environment. Each villa has a fireplace to make your cold nights warm and cozy. They also have full kitchens, a washer & dryer, a microwave, and a dishwasher. This spacious unit is perfect for a family ski vacation on Shawnee Mountain that is only a few miles away.

Perfect winter getaway for skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, or snow tubing. Each villa has a full eat-in kitchen with dishes and cooking essentials, dining room, living room, outside porch, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, and convenient front and back entrances. Living room has a double bed sized pullout sofa for extra sleeping space. Guests will enjoy Shawnee's recreation center with an indoor pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, fitness center, indoor basketball court, and large game room with pool tables. Take in the family attractions and historical towns of the Pocono Mountains area along with quaint village shops and unique dining.

The villa is unit #F7B in Shawnee's Fairway Village. Limited parking is available onsite. There's no cost for parking. The unit does have a set of stairs to get to the upstairs bedroom and bathroom. There is a bedroom and bathroom on the main level. The address is 5255 Buttermilk Falls Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.

Located just 5 miles away from the resort is the Alpine Mountain Ski and Ride Center. There is also the Camelback Mountain Resort and the Blue Mountain Pennsylvania Ski Area just under 32 miles away. Restaurants are nearby, within walking distance of the resort. During the day you can reach major shopping centers less than 30 miles away.

The nearest airport is Lehigh Valley International 40 miles away in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Take Rt. 22 East to Rt. 33 North to I-80 East (Exit 52 is now 309 Marshalls Creek). Go North on Rt. 209 for 1.5 miles and turn Right on Buttermilk Falls Rd. Go 1/2 mile and turn Left (across from Shawnee Square) and make the first Left into the Shawnee Commons Check-In and Recreation Center. Here you will receive directions to your unit. The check-in office is open daily from 7am to 11pm. Please call in advance if you anticipate a late arrival. **GPS address: 5255 Buttermilk Falls Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.
