“Ideally suited location with view of the bay and park. Free included parking and comfortable bed. No safe in room however the site was secure. Coffee machine was excellent and loads of captules provided. AC was effective and worked well both heating at night and cooling during the day plenty of towels and good quality soaps provided. Centrally located and check in was easy. Helpfull Staff and 'Dee' always to hand if required Thanks”

“The room was perfect better than expected!staff was great gave all the info needed. Breakfast could have been a bit of a change up but it was thanksgiving. As a woman travelling alone a night light system in the bathroom would be nice and also trying to do makeup for a meeting impossible because of poor lighting. ”

“Room was bright, spacious, clean and had a bathtub, not just a shower. You cannot swim in the Harrison resort hot pools if you are not staying at the old Harrison resort, so be warned that you have to swim at this hotel's pool instead. Also, the public pool in Harrison has limited space, limited hours, and waitlists, and is not worth waiting for. I would absolutely stay here again, but don't expect to have the outdoor grotto experience. ”

“The staff were quick to respond whenever I needed anything. The various pieces of furniture and "period pieces" in the lobby made it very interesting. I was disappointed to find out they no longer had a restaurant and suggest they take that info down on their website. One of the places I was interested in seeing was the 1881 area and it was so close. Also lots of stores, banks and restaurants in the area.”

“We enjoyed the setting of this property. It is a beautiful old house. Our room was nice. It was refreshing to swim in the outdoor pool although there was rust on the ladder to get out, due to it being a salt water treated pool. Possibly nothing can be done about that. There is no A/C and our room was quite warm but the ceiling fan and extra floor fan helped. We were awakened, (way past the quiet hours which guests have signed that they would abide by), due to a bunch of loud, unruly guests who...
