Cottage a Eastern Shore of Virginia

“Our cottage was listed as having a bay view, and we paid over $300/night for this view. The cottage was on a narrow (not super clean looking) man-made canal, with a parking lot to a hotel on the other side of the canal. The canal is wider than a ditch but very narrow. Very technically speaking, you can see the natural body of water (referred to as the bay) if you look through the landscape and other buildings between our cottage and the water, but the view was not in any reasonable way a bay...
