“The hotel is dilapidated. We arrived in our non-smoker room just to find it reeks of cigarettes with full ashtray outside the door. This same ashtray was still full when we were leaving 3 days later. No one cleaned the room during our stay. The water was leaking in the bathroom, the vent in the bathroom produced loudest screaching ever. I had to speak to the hostess on reception via Google translator, as she didnt speak english at all...”

“Nous avons passé la nuit du 3 au 4 juillet 2026 au l’Hôtel Motel La Marquise de Sherbrooke. L’état des lieux laissait à désirer. Premièrement la toilette. Étant une personne dans les 6 pieds (1 mètre 90) et d’un poids dépassant les 300 livres, je n’avais jamais vu une si petite toilette ronde et pour ma taille, ce n’est jamais confortable et quand je parle de petite toilette, elle avait certainement été achetée chez les Lilliputiens… La propreté en générale laissait aussi à désirer, car la...

“This is a very charming B&B with an equally charming host. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast was superb. Common areas included a beautifully furnished sitting room and a billiard room. In the private yard is a sauna, hot tub, and small pool — all clean and in working order during our early June visit. Thank you, Andre!”

“Unless you go for one of the suites, the rooms are very small and they do not have televisions. Good and bad but since this hotel is in the countryside, a television would be nice to help spend the night. All meals are outside and their patio area is spectacular. Tucked into rocks with the forest behind you and the smell of the wood stoves is awesome. Even in the heat of 32C, the area had a nice breeze and was enjoyable for dinner and drinks.”
