Guest Access & Amenities
We’ve stocked Henson Harbour with everything you need to feel relaxed, comfortable, and right at home during your stay. You’ll have access to:

Board games, cards, and books are tucked into the lower cabinets near the main floor master bedroom entrance—perfect for cozy nights or rainy afternoons.


2. Outdoor Games
Cornhole boards and other outdoor games are stored in the game room closet downstairs. Grab them anytime for some friendly competition by the lake.


3. Dock Comforts
On the dock, enjoy zero gravity lounge chairs in the screened section of the boathouse—ideal for sunbathing, stargazing, or just soaking in the view.


4. Towels & Linens
We provide all bed linens, bath towels, and hand towels. A few beach towels for lake use are located in the den by the back door leading to the deck.


5. Bathroom Essentials
Each bathroom includes 3 rolls of toilet paper, plus dispensers stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Forgot something? We’ve got you covered with extras like toothpaste, toothbrushes, make-up remover, razors, and shaving cream.


6. Laundry & Dish Supplies
We’ve included laundry detergent in the laundry room and dishwasher pods under the kitchen sink for your convenience.


7. Kitchen Basics
You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with cookware, utensils, baking sheets, and pantry staples like olive oil, salt, pepper, and a few common spices.


8. Starter Supplies
We provide a helpful set of starter essentials—including paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, and coffee filters. For longer stays, consider bringing additional items based on your needs.

A quick note on the name: Yes, “Henson Harbour” is spelled with a “u”—and that’s no typo! It’s a stylistic choice and a heartfelt nod to the late Jimmy Buffett. Inspired by his song "One Particular Harbour", this little slice of Lake Sinclair has become our one particular harbour—a peaceful retreat where life slows down and meaningful moments unfold. We hope it becomes that kind of place for you, too.

Emergency Info: Your safety and peace of mind are top priorities. In case of any emergencies during your stay, we’ve included a full list of nearby hospitals, pharmacies, and essential services in the house manual. You’ll also receive a digital copy before your arrival so you know exactly where to turn if needed.


House Rules & Important Information

Minimum Age Requirement: The primary guest must be at least 25 years old to book. A photo ID may be required upon check-in for verification purposes.

Dock Use: The boat lift is not available for guest use. Guests are welcome to tie their boat to the dock, but please note: the owner is not liable for any damage to guest watercraft.

Occupancy & Guest Limits: The home has a strict maximum occupancy of 10 guests. No additional guests beyond the reservation quantity are permitted on the property at any time, including day visitors.

No Parties or Events: Parties, events, and large gatherings are strictly prohibited. Violation of this rule will result in immediate eviction without refund.

Compliance with Laws: All occupants are required to comply with Putnam County ordinances, as well as state and federal laws. Any violations may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement, eviction from the property, and potential liability for fines and penalties.


Pet Policy – $150 Pet Fee
We welcome one well-behaved small to medium dog (50 lbs or under) with prior approval and a non-refundable $150 pet fee.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for all guests, please review and follow these pet guidelines:

Pets must be fully potty trained, up to date on all vaccinations, and on flea prevention medication.

Pets are not permitted on any furniture, including beds.

Guests must notify the owner in advance and receive written approval for their pet prior to arrival.

Cleaning Fee:
An additional cleaning fee may be charged if there is excessive pet hair, dirt, or odor that requires extra cleaning or professional cleaning services.

Damages:
Guests are responsible for any damages caused by their pet during the stay. If any damage occurs to the property, furniture, or belongings, the cost of repair or replacement will be charged to the guest.

Important:
Failure to obtain prior approval for a pet will result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation without a refund.
