“ I had a concerning experience during our stay. The room doors shut very quickly and forcefully, which can be dangerous—especially for children. Unfortunately, my daughter’s finger got stuck in the door. Thankfully, she wasn’t injured very badly, but it was a very scary moment for us. I strongly recommend the hotel consider installing soft-closing mechanisms or safety features to prevent such incidents in the future. “The Sportslander is just what I expected, an older motel that had all the basics covered. The room was older style, clean and on the end of a 10 day straight run of over 40 deg temps the pool and aircon did the job, the bed was comfy, there was no noise and had a good night sleep. For a budget one night stay, it did the job very well. ”

“First time staying at the Tasman Moama with two younger children. We loved the amenities and our one bedroom premium villa was modern and clean. Staff keep you updated via text message on daily activities/food vans etc which is very convenient. A couple minor things - there is not a lot of crockery or glassware, which is odd but a cheap and easy fix. Also would have expected some more activities, particularly over a long weekend.
