“ I had a concerning experience during our stay. The room doors shut very quickly and forcefully, which can be dangerous—especially for children. Unfortunately, my daughter’s finger got stuck in the door. Thankfully, she wasn’t injured very badly, but it was a very scary moment for us. “Didn't realise this was a contactless hotel with no reception. I checked in later in the day after driving up from Melbourne. Didn't realise ther was no ironing board in the room. I had a function that evening and needed to iron my clothes. I sent a text message to the hotel and called but there was no answer. Thanksfully, a man arrived within 20 minutes to deliver an iron and ironing board. Other than that, and the cramped parking, my stay was great. Just request ahead of time if you need to...

“2 bedroom apartments are very large and have everything you need to have a self contained stay. Shower was hot and powerful, there was a dishwasher and washing machine. The apartment is only serviced once a week so don’t expect housekeeping every day.”

“The Sportslander is just what I expected, an older motel that had all the basics covered. The room was older style, clean and on the end of a 10 day straight run of over 40 deg temps the pool and aircon did the job, the bed was comfy, there was no noise and had a good night sleep. For a budget one night stay, it did the job very well. ”

“This is a late 70’s early 80’s style motor inn that will surprise you with the cleanliness of the rooms and the close location to the centre of Echuca. A short 2km walk and you are in town, there nice cafes closer than that and the staff are helpful. Represents great value for money”
