“The setting of this BnB is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was perfect nothing fancy just exactly what you need, we specifically enjoyed the homemade rhubarb compote! The room was part of a converted barn and really cosy. The host was lovely. ”

“Il Waterfront Inn si trova a pochi passi dalla Westward Ho beach, una spiaggia immensa soggetta ad un’incredibile variabilità a seconda della marea, ideale anche per chi vuole imparare il surf. La camera è pulita e molto spaziosa con la macchina per il caffè/te. Il ristorante offre una buona cucina inglese e la colazione, abbondante a scelta, è inclusa nel prezzo. Il personale molto gentile e disponibile. Il parcheggio, anch’esso incluso nel prezzo, è proprio dietro la struttura”

“This was an amazing place to stay. The staff were excellent and friendly. Especially the General Manager Ryan who went above and beyond to make my stay special. The room was spotless, comfortable, and a great size. The food in the restaurant was tasty, great choice and huge portions. I would highly recommend the Sawmills. I shall definitely be returning . ”

“Stephen was a wonderful host showing us our room on arrival and explaining arrangements there. Room 3 was extremely well appointed with our own entrance and outdoor space. The small kitchen area included a microwave great for a cosy meal in. The continental breakfast was amazing and really set you up for the day. Set in quiet countryside outside Bideford with easy access to local attractions and exploring the countryside. A really relaxing break for us and would definitely recommend staying...

Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. We'll be back! ”
