“I have not stayed here for years and was surprised to see that its still a Brend Hotel ( family hotel).
I went for breakfast and it was a traditional waiter service breakfast eg you are shown to a table, another waiter takes your order, you choose the items you want and its freshly cooked ( no food sitting under a heated light)”

“Lovely decor. We had Room 3 which was the family suite and were pleasantly surprised that it was two bedrooms and huge private bathroom. Would have liked a shower in place of a bath for convenience but the bath was a glorious design. Good breakfast & friendly host. ”

We were fortunate to be upgraded from a room in the pub to one of the relatively new lodges. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable and well equipped.
We had breakfast included and this was first class with locally sourced food included.
We had two evening dinners at the pub and both were excellent from the very varied menu on offer. ”

Due to the rural and old nature of the pub, it was a little dusty and probably in need of a lick of paint, but this certainly shouldn’t deter people from staying. It was everything we needed during our stay!”
