It’s your job as a lash artist to create beautiful sets that compliment the shape of your clients eyes. This means you need to take into consideration your clients facial features, symmetry and even hair colour! Lashes are not a ‘one size fits all’, that’s why you should take your consultation process very seriously! We want all clients to love the sets we create.
When mapping we take the following into consideration:
-Eye Shape - are their eyes round, almond or hooded? Do they have drooping eyelids?
-Eyebrow Shape - do their eyebrows arch significantly? How thick are their eyebrows?
-Facial Features - how much distance is there between your clients eyebrows and eyes? Are their features dark or light?
Listening to your client and taking the time to customize a lash map according to their natural features will set you up for success!
