“Charming little pub with lots of cool original features. Large bedroom and a comfortable bed. Everything works really well. Now, the food at this place is honestly on another level. I have never had any food inside a pub this good. This pub is well known for serving up some of the best food. Locals are highly complimentary about the dining experience here.”

“Il giudizio complessivo è positivo per il personale collaborativo, sorridente e molto gentile. La struttura è silenziosa nonostante ci siano molti utenti. Non ho provato il servizio di colazione. Il giudizio negativo è dovuto alla completa assenza di trasporti pubblici, dato che si tratta di fatto di un grande autogrill (per come lo intendiamo in Italia), quindi se non hai un'automobile devi per forza servirti di un taxi per raggiungere il centro abitato. Ovviamente la colpa è mia che non ho...

“What a fabulous place to stay. All the little touches to make one feel special. Staff fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Love the colour schemes. All so restful and inviting. Rooms were sparkling and the food quite delicious. Dorking is very lucky to have such a wonderful place to stay/eat and relax ”

“Hotel scelto come unica possibilità in seguito ad un volo cancellato da Londra Gatwick. Personale gentile ma posizione veramente scomoda, in mezzo al nulla, l'aeroporto, a circa 20 km, è raggiungibile solo in taxi ad una cifra assurda, 55 £. Struttura decente ma datata che non vale assolutamente le 170 sterline spese.”

“Had a great stay atvyhe Hurtwood. Found it by chance. Great village with plenty of walking direct in to the Surrey Hills as directed by the lovely lady who checked us in. Room very comfortable with fresh milk provided. We found the car park easy for a big car, but would not be so easy in season I think. Dinner in the bar was excellent and good portions. Breakfast cooked to order also great. Will go again. Thank you.”

“Top quality food. Steak & Ale pie to die for and excellent fish & chips. Great breakfast with quality produce. Brilliant selection of ales. Old fashioned English Inn with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Tidy room with a modern en-suite shower room. Bed not to our liking but that's very much a personal choice. In a very quiet location with no shops nearby but would recommend for an overnight stay.”

“The room was not clean, the carpets were stained and dirty, the chair was dirty, the shower was dirty. They changed the room which was better, however I was too tall to have a shower as the ceiling was so low so I had to bath. Good breakfast ”
