“The receptionist was extremely rude when I was booking in. I had a long drive (i'm sure other people do) but he was totally the wrong person. I was woken up very early by some extreamly loud coughing and snooring which went on and on and on. On a plus side when I was checking out the lady on reception was lovely!”

Since then we noticed a big change in the hotel, especially the decoration and prices in the bar. Had a latte and half a pint of beer, cost £9.00 in cash!!!!! When we arrived the receptionist noticed I was using a walking aid and unprompted started looking to change our room to an accessible room eliminating needing to use stairs. We were very touched by his thoughtfulness. It was an upgrade to a suite which was outstanding and it really enhanced our comfort and experience. “We stayed in 2 separate rooms and both were very well presented and the decor was lovely. Very spacious rooms. The only thing I will say, on booking, the listing made it seem that the pool and hot tub was on site but it's at their sister hotel around the corner.
