What a gem of a holiday villa. The location was perfect- a short stroll to a lovely little bay (bring a snorkle as it was full of little fish), restaurants and the tram (which goes all the way to Alicante and Benidorm). There is small supermarket in the village centre which was great for little top-up shops.The views from the villa are just stunning- the villa is in a quiet residential area so we had all the peace we needed. You are two houses from the shore, which meant I could hear the sea! Bliss.The pool was bigger than the pictures give it credit for, which the kids loved. There's plenty of shade on the veranda - perfect for the kids.Check-in was super easy and Candy (our property manager) arranged shopping for us so that we didn't need to rush out on our first day! The villa had everything we needed and the beds were super comfy. The air-cons meant cool nights!We spent 9 days there and had a car to explore the area! Altea with it's typical Spanish charm, the Caves in the mountains, jet skiing in Alicante and a day on the beach in El Campello. Overall we had a great stay. Thank you David for an amazing villa!

This property was perfect for our family holiday with 2 adults, 4 children between the ages 11-18. On arrival we were met by the representative Candy who was so friendly and helpful, I was able to message her before our stay to ask about airport transfer, she was also happy to be contacted during our stay if there were any issues ( which there wasn't ).The pool was big enough and deep enough for diving and it was very clean. The villa was very spacious, clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen was mostly well equipped, just needed a few more trays for the oven, otherwise perfect and we cooked a meal most days. The balcony was lovely to sit out on overlooking the sea and have drinks/ play cards in the evening. We were there in August when it was very hot during the day and evenings but manageable if dipping into the pool. Aircon is in the bedrooms ( not in the living areas) so there were no issues sleeping at night. The bedrooms were spacious, good amount of storage. Surrounding the whole property was a lovely garden that you could walk round with a nice quiet seating area at the front of the property. The location of the property is in a quiet village with a few bars, restaurants and a small supermarket. We didn't use these so cannot comment but seemed popular. The beach is a 5 min walk, it's not sandy, a little rocky but nice for a quick swim. The tram into El Campello was easy to walk to( but need good mobility) and cheap. Fantastic holiday definitely recommend.

Beautiful stay

This is a wonderful villa, very well equipped with beautiful outdoor spaces, it's much more spacious than the pictures suggest! Our trip was as a family of five with three small children (6, 4 & 2), so the lockable pool gates were absolutely a must for us. The pool area is wonderful, full sun all day, with plenty of sun-loungers and incredibly comfortable cushions. Candy's communication was amazing, she sent loads of information about the local area and things to do, and replied very quickly to questions. We didn't use the tram, as we hired a car, but would highly recommend the beaches in El Campello, beautiful sand, clean and plenty of sun-loungers/umbrellas to hire if needed. We absolutely made the right choice with this villa and hope to return one day!

Family holiday

Great property, with a lovely pool and great views of the sea. Nearby are some lovely bars and restaurants and 10 mins walk away is the Alicante to Benidorm tramline, which is perfect for getting up and down the coast. El Capello, 5 mins on tram is a great place for the beach and beach side restaurants.

City / Country Combo Holiday

This is a charming villa set in a hilly enclave just north of El Campello. We chose NOT to rent a car - so we stayed local (from Alicante to Villajoysa is easy/cheap to do by tram). The tram stop (and local wine/grocery merchant) is an easy 10 minute walk - take a backpack and its easy to do your shopping and be back at the villa. The grounds are nice with lots of vignettes around the villa to either chase the sun or the breeze depending on time of day. Candy was wonderful to meet us on the first day at the Alicante train station and wait for us to buy a few days grocery on our arrival (Sat) as most markets are closed on Sunday. So you do have to plan ahead a little. Pool area was great - we were lucky it hadn't gotten too cold yet. Only downside we could think of was the Aircon is only in the sleeping area of the house. This makes it necessary to keep the breeze blowing thru the rest of the house for comfort - and this lets in mosquitos. So bug spray is important. Great location, away from the "big city" but easy to enjoy get a city/country holiday with the touristy stuff in Alicante and the more local feel of El Campello and Coveta Fuma. Great 10 days spent at superb family villa

My self and my family had a great holiday at this villa. The house is 10 minutes walk from the tram that took us to El Campello (for beach or shopping) and on into Alicante (for city buzz/harbour/beach) and even out to Benidorm (we were curious!!), so everything is within easy reach. The villa was also only 10 minutes walk from a plaza with numerous nice(ish) restaurants and watering holes. The house was very comfortable, with air conditioning allowing us to sleep in the heat, and the pool was also great to help us cool down. All in all, we had a great holiday, and would love to go back some day.

El Campello getaway

First impression was very good, nice clean property with plenty of room and lovely pool and garden with lovely flowers. It was very warm during our stay and the pool was used often. The property manager gave our party some very useful information concerning food orders. The nearest tram stops were just over 5 minutes walk from the villa and as we did not have a car hire it was used regularly. I have to say that the villa was very nice and well equipped and our party had a very enjoyable time there.

Les +: belle maison, vue mer et dégagée au calme bonne literie bien agencée pour 6 adultes Les draps et serviettes fournies Bonne situation entre Alicante et Benidorm 2 places de parking Les -: la climatisation qui fatigue dans la chambre parentale, pas de volet côté soleil dans la cuisine et pas de clim un ventilateur n'enlève pas la chaleur qui rentre. Merci à Bonnie et Candy pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité Dans l'ensemble c'est une location très agréable Nous recommandons et reviendrons

Another lovely stay

We have arrived home from another great stay at Villa Carlanna. Very clean, well equipped villa. We love the area as it is perfect for our family holiday- offers some restaurants in close proximity, convenience shop and easy access to mainline transport for longer excursions, if no car. Candy & Bonnie very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable at check in/out and throughout stay. No doubt will be back again!

Amazing Villa!

Just home from such a wonderful stay. There were 5 adults and a three year old in our group. Lovely welcome pack awaited us which was a great gesture Candy was a fabulous host and couldn’t do enough for us. We were able to WhatsApp her throughout our stay for questions or queries or even help with taxis. There is online supermarket app ( Candy will send you the link) or if you’d rather walk, a shopping trolly is available and it’s 20-15 minutes to nearest supermarket which has most things, including fresh bread and pastries but is bit limited on fruit. Supermarket next to the tram stop, which takes you into Alicante, Benidorm, El Campello all very cheap and range from 15-40 minutes on tram. Also within same walking range is village square with nice bars a various restaurants. Such a quiet location with incredible sea views. Everything we needed to cook, drink, chill was available. All towels were included as well as pool towels. Bring mosquito spra as mosquitos were around. There are lovely little bays within 10 -15 minute walks although not sandy. And water sports nearby that we would have loved to try if we had more time? Being able to wash your clothes was a positive. The lockable pool gate was amazing for the three year old. We felt so safe and secure in the villa. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was perfect and enabled you to sleep soundly. Thankyou to David and Candy, your villa is wonderful and we will I’m sure be seeing you again. 😊

Beautiful Coastal Villa

We had an amazing and relaxing time at the Vila! The views from the balconies were stunning, we loved eating out there and chilling by the ( very warm )private pool! Communication with David was great from the outset and then latterly Candy. Candy kindly organised our airport transfers with a local taxi firm who were very reasonably priced. She also gave us info on things to do and see and of the Mercadonba App where you can order your groceries to be delivered which was a god send! We spent a lot of our time at a lovely clean local beach 10 minutes walk away. Would highly recommend staying here and we hope to come back soon!

Excellent second visit

This was our second stay in this lovely villa. Very spacious and well equipped with everything you need. Made good use of the pool as the weather was very hot. Very quiet and peaceful even though there are neighbours nearby. Easy access to bars,restaurants and a small but very well stocked supermarket. Short walk to the tram if you want to travel further afield. Thanks to Candy for making us feel so welcome and recommendations of places to visit.

Terrific stay

From the exceptional hospitality of both David and Candy to David’s delightful, comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean villa, our stay was perfect. The views are stunning and the location ideal. The small village of Coveta Fuma has everything required (including a great beach) and the tram means car hire is not necessarily required. Without doubt, the best villa of the many we have rented!

Villa fabuleuse

Perfect Villa Holiday

We’ve just returned from a gorgeous week away in this lovely villa. We were a family of 6 & it was just perfect with all the amenities you’ll need. The Villa has a lovey veranda with beautiful sea views & gorgeous sunrises & sunsets. The veranda has comfy seating overlooking the pool which we paid extra to heat. The pool was large enough for kids and adults to play in with plenty of loungers & umbrellas. The Villa also has plenty of other seating areas to spread out if you want a bit of peace & quiet. We particularly liked the one area out front. The Villa was located in a quiet neighbourhood a 10 min walk to a small supermarket which did lovely warm bread & pastries a couple of bars restaurants & a small beach, although some roads are hilly. The tram stop of Coveta Fuma near the supermarket is so cheap to travel on (€9 for 6) although sometimes it’s standing room only. We used the tram to travel to the beach at El Campello, Alicante & Benidorm. Candy was the perfect host offering that personal touch contacting us before the holiday to arrange taxi transfers to & from the airport & despite the very late hour met us at the Villa to show us around. Candy also send us details of a large supermarket if we wanted to order online, plus during the holiday sent us plenty of ideas & places to visit. And thank you to Bonnie who oversaw our departure. Thank you to David for letting us stay in this lovely villa & Candy for going above and beyond in making this just the perfect holiday

Perfect holiday in a nice house, but it would be nice if you could change the cushions in the sun chairs outside ass well as the dining chairs. They are very worn out.

Stunning Villa

We have just returned from a fabulous week at Villa Carlanna. The Villa was perfect for our family, it had everything you may need (even a wheelie trolly for taking heavy items home from the shop!). Air conditioning in the bedrooms was a delight at bedtime. The Villa was within walking distance of a few bars and restaurants that also has a children’s playground within view of the bars, this was great for our children (aged 2, 7, 9 and 10). We found no need to hire a car, we used the tram, which was within walking distance of the Villa, for days out in El Campello and Benidorm, it was very efficient. David was super quick at replying to any questions I had and Candy was very welcoming, she checked us in and out very quickly. We are missing the beautiful sea views already and can not wait to return. Thank you David and Candy.

Lovely Villa With Sea Views

The property is well equiped and maintained. It is located in a quiet residental area and has great sea views. It is in a good location with local pubs, restaurants and a shop within 10 mins walk. Strongly recommend hiring a car to explore the area. The property mamager (Candy) was very helpful and responsive. We had a great hoilday and would love to go back again.

July Holiday

We stayed for two weeks at the beginning July. On arrival we were met by Bonnie and shown around. It was extremely hot during our stay so the air conditioning in the bedrooms was much needed. The pool is a real gem with a lovely temperature and private. There are other villas very close by, but they don’t interfere with your views out to sea. Issues raised during our stay were quickly sorted out by Candy and Bonnie. It should be noted that whilst there are local bars not far away the walk to them is down/up quite a steep hill. The pool area would benefit from a second umbrella although there are other sheltered areas around the Villa.

Lovely villa, great location!

We had a lovely stay in Villa Carlanna. A really well equipped kitchen, plenty of shade options for outdoor areas, air con in the bedrooms is very efficient, pool area is very nice…they have thought of all of your potential needs, even down to a wheeled shopping bag for market days etc (you really should use it- everyone has one!). Check in and check out we’re very friendly and speedy- we were given lots of guidance and links for places to go and invaluable advice on where to spend time before our late flight home, couldn’t ask for more We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon!

Superb villa

Beautiful villa

We all enjoyed our stay at this villa. Spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Lovely pool and garden with areas of sun and shade.
