We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our location, the amenities of our resort, and the quality of our customer service.However, we are sorry that your stay was marred by discomfort related to bites. We want to assure you that we take this type of issue very seriously. During the investigation, it appeared that the insect found in your bed was not a bed bug, but rather a harmless local insect. Certainly, it had no place there, and we understand that this may have caused discomfort, for which we apologize.It is important to note that our establishment has not encountered any bed bug problems for several years, thanks to a rigorous maintenance and hygiene program. Regarding the bites, it is likely and even certain that they were caused by "sand flies" or "Nik-Nik". These are very small and hard to see insects, but their bites are very itchy. They are common on the beaches of Lio, Nacpan, and Duli at certain times of the day. We strive to warn our guests about this risk associated with these beaches with brochures placed in the rooms and when they share their desire to visit them.We sincerely appreciate your recommendations regarding the rooms, and we are pleased that our staff was able to assist you during the room change.
