The night guy and cleaning lady don't speak English so it's a good opportunity to practice your Spanish. When I stayed there, I didn't see many other guests, so I did not experience meeting other international travelers and enjoying the camaraderie in a common area that some hostels have. “I have stayed here 3 times now and their service is always excellent. They are super helpful. At midnight, I don't like taking taxis to the center of Quito so we always spend the 1st night there. The hostal has a unique cute style. It is conveniently located by the airport. The rooms always clean. We will continue staying there, and referring people. Oh, and they always bring breakfast to your room (always delicious and fulfilling) at no extra charge.”
