“I was visiting family in the area and needed a place for the night. The Colonial House Motor Inn was perfect. The room was fresh, extremely clean and very comfy. It had a fridge and a microwave. The bathroom was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. There was laminate flooring throughout. It was an excellent value and I would happily stay again when I am in the area. ”

“This property transitioned from Days Inn to potentially Quality Inn on July 1, 2025. It is currently going through a significant retrofit of the entire complex. The portions that are finished are quite spectacular and bode well for the large amount of work that still needs to be completed. We were more than satisfied with our stay in the renovated room provided to us and also with the complimentary delicious and varied breakfast.”

“Centrally located and close to the historical centre of town on a large private and beautifully landscaped lawn. The only thing that people should be aware of is that it is near a train track. It didn’t bother me but if you’re a sensitive sleeper they do provide ear plugs.”
