The Dragonfly-Cottage- Waterfront in Elk Rapids

Il Dragonfly si trova a Elk Rapids sul lago Bass ed è un affascinante cottage accogliente più guest house che può ospitare fino a 6 persone. Questo è un sabato-sabato settimanale in estate. Alcuni brevi soggiorni potrebbero essere disponibili. I soggiorni brevi devono essere confermati tramite il nostro ufficio. Situato proprio nella pittoresca cittadina di Elk Rapids sul lato est. Una posizione dolce che sicuramente piacerà. East Grand Traverse Bay è a pochi minuti da qui. Shorts Brewery è anche dietro l'angolo.

Il soggiorno è fuori dalla cucina e dispone di una smart TV con Direct TV. Al largo della cucina sul lato lago c'è una veranda coperta, un posto perfetto per un caffè mattutino. La casa principale dispone di 2 camere da letto e 1 bagno. Entrambe le camere hanno un letto matrimoniale. La struttura dispone anche di un letto matrimoniale e di un bagno. Lenzuola e asciugamani sono inclusi. Esci dalla porta del portico su un ampio ponte con una zona perfetta per rilassarsi e grigliare. La pensione è a pochi passi dalla casa principale. C'è anche una lavanderia separata sul retro della casa principale. 1 animale ben educato è il benvenuto.

All'esterno c'è un grande prato erboso che scende verso il tuo posto privato sul lago. Puoi sederti sul ponte e guardare i bambini che giocano nel lago. C'è una buca per il fuoco situata vicino all'acqua. Un sacco di mobili da giardino e una griglia completano il comfort per il divertimento all'aperto. A pochi passi dal negozio di alimentari e un paio di ristoranti. Il quartiere tranquillo è un luogo perfetto per allontanarsi da tutto. ELk Rapids è a circa 20 minuti da Traverse City. Kewadin è di 10 minuti.

Quiet. Traffic out front goes away after 10pm. The lake is wonderful. Husband loved fishing and dog loved swimmingWalking the neighborhoods is funShorts and Pearls are delicious food and drink options.

My daughter and I..along with our furbaby..had an amazing time at the Dragonfly!The cottage was very charming and had everything we needed to feel like home!We will definitely be booking a trip back next year!!We highly recommend!!

Cute cottage. Cleanliness was fine, except the one bed had a stained sheet. Kayaks were full of water, so not useable. Management company was very responsive. Walked to grocery and restaurant

Short and sweet

Our stay was a short one. Waking up to be able to go fishing or swimming was wonderful. Then close to other bigger beaches and Shorts was great fun. Place is very quiet -after 10 pm when things shut down.Call of the loons is a great lullaby.

Cute little lake house

Perfect size for us. 2 kids (4&6) and 2 adults. Picked this house for it being lake front with a boat dock. Great area for kids, not deep at all, we felt safe at all times. Lots of ducks. Super close to a market and gas station, and super close to Shorts Brewery, our favorite place. Clean house and had everything we needed.

Nice lakeside get away

We enjoyed a few days at the dragonfly. We were able to go hiking in Leelenau, shopping in Traverse City, catch a sunset across the way in Elk Rapids and have our dogs with us at the house. I recommend the Happy Camper coffee shop downtown-great coffee, best hot chocolate and amazing views.

Fishing trip

The property was very nice. We went for fishing so we were hoping for a bigger variety of fish. Several other lakes are close by for fishing. overall, highly recommend.

Great service, cozy environment

We were very impressed with the responsiveness of the management staff. A hiccup with the wifi password and a question about the heater were resolved quickly and thoughtfully. The location - right on the lake - was great (esp because our dog loves to swim) but also for just looking at. Great location.

Perfect up north getaway

This cabin was the perfect long weekend getaway! The house had enough place for 4 people and a picturesque backyard and view of the lake. The grill and fire pit was a fantastic amenity to be able to roast s’mores and burgers all weekend. The location was walkable to all the local places and a quick drive to traverse city. The house was clean, easy to check in, had enough basic amenities, the beds were comfy, the Wi-Fi was fast. I’d love to come back to this property.

Nice place

Place was nice and for the most part clean. Great location and access to the pier and use of the Kayaks were a nice bonus. There was some mold in the bathroom shower that should be cleaned. Also yard is full of goose poop. Maybe this is common for the area but it made the yard kind of unusable. I would recommend this place and would also rent again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was cute. Yard is large and had plenty of space for our boys to run around. Kayaks were nice. There is only 1 AC unit in the living room and the bedrooms were kind of small. Wish there were bunkbeds and a pull out couch. There was a mowing service that came during one of the days of our stay and blew grass all over our stuff on the deck which was loud and annoying. Grill had no propane. Communication w visit up north was pretty easy. Location was close to Shorts and a few restaurants and grocery store that was nice. The indian restaurant magic masala was super slow tho and not the best food so would advise to avoid that place.

Little things

It is a small very sweet little place. Right on the water. Was throughly enjoyable for the 2 of us and our Lab. (Who enjoyed the water and ducks). My only thing is….please maybe leave instructions for the TV. And, put more lamps in. Brighter light bulb in kitchen. Maybe even night lights around? Got a tad dark at night and trying to find the bathroom was a tad hazardous.

Great House and Location

Our stay was great and the house was wonderful. However, the lack of information in regards to there being no A/C at this house was unfortunate; such information should be up front. But the weather was perfect so it fortunately was not needed for the stay. Wifi was difficult so we did not hook to it as there was 10 different things with different information. All in all we enjoyed the stay and would go back, but better instructions would definitely help.

Bass Lake In Elk Rapids.

Lovely stay - very nice and quiet, exactly what I was looking for attending a work conference in Traverse City - gave me a space to get away and enjoy in peace...even had some colleagues over for an evening around the campfire and we all agreed it was much better than booking hotel rooms and spending $$$ on high-end dinners - this was a better experience for me. Everything about the process was smooth. I had read comments about musty-ness in the property and was a little concerned. While there is a slight bit I detected when I walked in, it's nothing to be concerned about whatsoever. Walked in and literally said "it's a cottage - this is exactly what I was anticipating". Enjoyed the stay very much. Thank you.

Disappointed

The place was conveniently located. The major problem was upon entering the place it wreaked of mildew/mold. Apparently the owner knows of this issue as there were dehumidifying items all around, they are not working. We really could not enjoy our stay due to the stench. I realize it was less expensive than others but it is a health hazard & should not be allowed as a rental until repaired.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were used to staying on Glen Lake but b/c we decided to go so late in the summer season a rental was hard to come by. This place at least got us in the area. Toaster burned the toast. A/C stopped cooling in 90+ heat. View of the lake was obstructed by a large tree that could have been limbed up. Lake has mucky” bottom which neighbor recommended we not get in. TV operated with Firestick which we weren’t familiar with so we had to call 3 times to get operational - could’ve used simple instructions for use. Rental is VERY small and had to wash every kitchen utensil used b/c was not clean1

Not worth it

I don’t feel that the property was cleaned well. There was mold in the shower and the closet reeked of mold and must there was sand on the couches. For the price of the cleaning service I was charged, it should be way better. Also, the rental permit displayed expired two years ago. No instructions to turn on air and the fans are coated in dust.
