Questa affascinante baita originale, "River's Edge", costruita nel 1910, si trova su quasi un acro di proprietà sul lungofiume. Dispone di 3 camere da letto, 1 bagno, lavanderia, ampia camera da letto matrimoniale, 2 caminetti, WiFi gratuito, TV moderne, lettori DVD e videoregistratore con videoteca. 6 posti letto più 2 bambini sul divano letto nel soggiorno. L'ampio schermo nella veranda è eccellente per cenare o leggere un libro. La struttura dispone di un ampio ponte con vista sul fiume, una spaziosa area con pozzo del fuoco, griglie a gas e carbone e una vasca idromassaggio per 6 persone. Guardaci su FB per scoprire le attività di molti anni: pesca, kayak, tubing, golf, sci, snowboard, osservazione della fauna selvatica, arrampicata su roccia, mountain bike e spelunking. I ristoranti, i bar e i teatri dal vivo offriranno al vostro soggiorno intrattenimento eccellente e ottima cucina locale. We had such a peaceful and memorable stay at this rustic log cabin by the river. The setting is absolutely beautiful — quiet, scenic, and perfect for unwinding. Waking up to the sound of the water and spending slow mornings surrounded by nature was exactly what we needed.The cabin itself has a cozy, charming feel that really complements the natural surroundings. It feels like a true escape from the busyness of everyday life.We truly enjoyed our time here and are already looking forward to coming back again in the future.

Cabin seemed very cozy at first until it got cold outside. It was a little drafty, especially upstairs. Glad we brought extra blankets! I did however find that we somehow turned off a switch in the laundry room to one of the baseboard heaters in the living room. Probably wouldn’t have been as cold had we known that. Our kids did not sleep upstairs due to it being cold and a little dusty. The location on the river was great and would have been very enjoyable in warmer weather. The kitchen was nice and had all the things we needed to cook. The laundry room was nice as well. Bathroom was updated with nice size shower but a little cold. Two space heaters were provided which was nice and would have heated the bathroom had I thought of it. Lots of outdoor space and also plenty of firewood for the fireplace!

We stayed during Christmas week and found the cabin very easy to get to. The power in the area went out during our stay, and the host was quick to respond, which we appreciated. The cabin was clean and very comfortable for two people. The kitchen and bathroom were very nice and well maintained. The upstairs area was a bit uncomfortable for our teenage kids due to the creaky floors and the age of the house, so we all ended up staying in the master bedroom. Overall, I would recommend this cabin for a couple rather than a family.

Cabin is comfortable and clean. Very nice kitchen and bath. Being on the river was wonderful. Only downside was 2 of the bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are very difficult to maneuver.

A PIECE of HEAVEN

Beautiful original log home. Deck built out on Cheat River for gorgeous views and wildlife. Wonderful fire pit area. Definite location! The home is well equipped with many hospitalities. Awesome hot tub all of property direct views of the river. Fishing was fabulous too!

Very nice but needs some maintenance

Shower backed up immediately as well as the sink, bought some strong Drano ourselves and it cleared the clog. The toilet seat was always covered with condensation so we had to keep wiping it off. Could use some new bath towels and bed spread…little things like that could use a refresh. The upstairs is very creaky and feels unsafe to walk on and the steps are very dangerous. The porch needs all new screening and the screen doors are pretty old. The rest of the house is great, but could use a thorough cleaning. It was confusing as how to regulate the heat and the living room and kitchen were very cold. I do feel like most cabins we’ve stayed at tend to have the same issues and I understand a lot of people come and go and make messes, so I get it…and we did love the place. The view was amazing as well as the jacuzzi. The TVs are great and the furniture was nice as well as the bed. I hope this review was not offensive…we loved the cabin, we know renters cause damage, just wanted to offer feedback so things can be easier on the owners too and make their cabin the best rental in the area. Even though we had some issues to list, we totally would come back again. We loved the bedroom the most! It was huge and the fireplace was the best! The dining table area was so cute and nicely decorated. There could a better way to locate the property. It was so hard to find and there was no actual sign indicating the name of the cabin.

Cozy cabin, close to many hiking trails. Cabin has everything you need. The bathroom is updated and the shower has nice water pressure. Everything was clean and was great having a large tv above the fireplace in both the living room and bedroom.
