We were staying one night and traveling down further in Virginia, that evening we couldn’t find a decent hotel so we drove 60 miles back to stay another night. All of the staff was very friendly. “This cabin was wonderful. Definitely off the beaten path but provided great quiet serenity after a full day in the park. You really can't beat something 15 minutes from the park entrance and also 15 minutes from town/groceries/restaurants. Stunning sunsets from the porch! Location was great for exploring Shenandoah, Luray, etc. Friendly host was an excellent communicator. Of note, in June there were lots and lots of flies and other insects around so I wouldn’t recommend a rural stay if that would be bothersome. ”
