“Great location to the ferry - very dog friendly - staff very helpful - spa facilities excellent - food good - could provide a separate table from restaurant for those with dogs - eating breakfast and evening meal sitting on a sofa not very comfortable. We stayed at Kingsmill Hotel Inverness and they provided a table away from restaurant and bar - so much more comfortable eating at a table rather than being crunched up on a low sofa or chairs.”

“We had a fantastic minimoon at Crinan!! Food is 11/10. Staff 11/10! Location is absolutely stunning. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. We had a room with a balcony and the views are out of this world. The boat trip on Ross Ryan’s boat The Sgarbh was incredible. We saw seals and Sea Eagles and sailed around the islands. This hotel is a true Scottish gem!”

"The right place for a one night stay. Close to the ferry pier and the fish market. The building is old without lift, reception in the pub at ground floor. The room has everything you need in a tiny space. Windows haven't been renewed, very hard to open. Usb plugs by the bed are a smart idea but unfortunately not working. I asked for luggage deposit next morning as I was on a day tour (like 80% of tourists in Oban) but I wasn't allowed due to a private event. Overall a good value for money if you look for an essential stay. "
