Renee,Do you read? That was stated in 1st paragraph of description of house. It is a cozy country home not an expensive ski chalet. All drawbacks of property are listed clearly. You paid a fair price for a clean comfortable property, by not reading the whole description of house , and writing a one star review you have lowered my rating for a very honestly advertised property at a reasonable price

Yes it is a country road and there is a train, which I actually enjoy. I did come to the house at 11:30 on the day of check in, which is supposed to be 3:00pm. I was going to vacuum, dust and make sure everything was clean and welcoming, I even brought fresh flowers and a bottle of wine to welcome them, when I arrived they were already there 4 hours early, 2 dogs 1 pet bird flying around and the mrs. I told her I was going to clean and she said not to worry about it, also only 1 dog listed on contract, I drove 60 miles there and 60 miles back to clean and could not. But thank you for your business!

dear Traci thank you for your review and suggestions, I'm not sure how you missed it, but the house number is in the first line of your welcome email. I have purchased all new sheets, as per your request. i do not go through all pots pans dishes and glassware after each guest stay. so i do have to rely on guests to properly wash their dishes. however after your review i did go through and check everything and put everything back in its proper place. the Fire wood is a mix of recycled barn wood and trees that i have harvested myself from my property. thank you for your review

angela, i am so sorry you were not satisfied. i certainly am not trying to deceive anyone as you can read in my description of property. all my pictures are of the property that i took myself. my ad states that we sleep 8 in beds, and i believe they are also identified as 3 full beds and 1 bunk bed, plus 2 couches in living room. i do not think i can be held responsible for your getting lost, i have no control over satellite gps. as for the alarm, i knew you were checking in you i gave my code to the alarm company to stop the police from intercepting. i contacted you as quickly as possible through the email we had been communicating with. i did not receive any phone calls from you about any problems. description of property: Are you looking for the perfect ski house? It is not a 4 star hotel. We offer 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 wood burning fire places, first floor laundry facilities and ski storage. we have clean linens, comfy mattresses, firewood is provided, games, books, videos, flat screen TV with basic cable, and free internet service. off street parking with snow plow service. Outdoor fire pit and grill also available. Relax by the fire in the serene environment of this cozy country home. Located 4 miles from the center of Ellicottville, 6 miles from the slopes and golf courses at Holiday Valley, and Holimont ski resorts. 15 acres of private wooded land for hiking and snowshoeing. Master bedroom boasts a private bath, woodburning stove and sitting area. If you want an affordable, comfortable, fun filled vacation we are your place!! if you are looking for posh, elegant, pristine ski out chalet- Start looking in the 2500.00- 3000.00 price range. Full Disclosure!! some not so great, but upfront draw back features of the property. 1> we now have internet and WIFI!!!! 2. In very cold weather, sub freezing, the kitchen water supply may freeze, You can still get water from bathrooms and utility room for dish washing and cooking. 3. Upon your arrival you may find dormant flies and lady bugs around windows. this is a common occurrence in eville rural areas.The house is clean! they just find there way in and then go dormant.they should be vacuumed before you unpack if they are present. a hand vac and normal vac are provided. 4. We have well water, which has a sulfur odor. it is clean

i am working hard on cleaning up the barn area it is much more contained now and hopefully will be totally cleared this year. gravel driveway is also planned for spring!!
