Beautiful place disappointed with hot tub
Beautiful place but when we arrived hot tub was not in working condition. Owner reached out at 4pm on Vrbo which is check in time to say it was not working but we were driving at the time so we didn’t get it. She texted me at 6 which we just arrived to say the hot tub was not working. This was one of the main reasons my daughter chose this place for her birthday and she was very disappointed as her birthday was that day. was told I would get a $50 refund, which I have still yet to receive. I understand that things happen and was trying to be understanding but this was a deciding factors when my daughter chose this place. The owner finally got the hot tub working the next day and it was finally ready to use at 4pm Saturday. We check out Sunday morning so therefore we technically only got to use the hot tub. For 12 hours or less basically cause we got to sleep. We were told we could get a 30% discount off next rental but that does not do any good this trip and that was very disappointing but nonetheless we enjoyed family time and made the best of it. The owner also said we could just leave after we had already unpacked everything which was very unreasonable cause it was my daughters birthday and we just drive all the way. This is a beautiful cabin but I was very disappointed with the way we were treated as the hot tub not working was not our fault and should have been communicated way earlier In The day cause she knew since at least noon.
