Better than Expected!
The pictures were just okay, but this property was amazing!! There was plenty of room for our group & the outdoor area was a dream! We never left the property and it was wonderful!

We love this place! It will be our go to memorial day weekend every year if available!
The river is amazing. The house itself is perfect for our family. Plenty of room for everyone. The hot tub is a hit as well as the new fire pit/patio by the river. The town is great to for shopping dinner and antique things! Great all around stay!

Perfect River Access!
Loved the river access and fire fit sitting area! The pictures did not do this rental justice! The outdoor areas are great! The property owners were helpful and easy to work with and let us check in many hours before standard check in time. Definitely recommend this property!

A little piece of paradise
Such a beautiful location and comfortable home. Our host was easily accessible, but we had no real concerns. We had so much fun relaxing, reconnecting and exploring. This is a fabulous place and well cared for. Highly recommend for friends and family, even smaller children with the bonus swing set! Thank you, for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home!

Absolutely serene setting
The kitchen was sumply stocked, every dishware you would need was provided. We absolutely loved the huge yard and waterfront area. Gazebo, firepit area, etc. Beautiful landscaping and entertainment of watching 'tubers and kayakers' float by. My kids had soooo much fun in the water. Inner tubes and life jackets were provided. Loved the television channel selection, hubby got to watch his football. The jacuzzi was warmed and ready for us on our arrival. It was a relaxing blast. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Vacation: We arrived Sunday evening. We went grocery shopping and ate at Longhorns. Exhausted from the traveling, we spent the evening sitting by the river watching the deer. Monday we stayed at the house all day, sitting in the water, grilling, and watching the tubers pass by. Tuesday we tubed the Cartecay River. We got out at the house and cooked hot dogs for lunch, then finished our tubing trip. Wednesday we Zip Lined in Amicalola. Afterwards, we drove to Atlanta to do Beat the Bomb escape room. 10/10 perfect day! Thursday we had Braves tickets but were rained out. We did some sightseeing through North GA. Beautiful drives and lots of animals. Friday we drove to the Hiwasee River in TN and rafted (self-guided). We packed a lunch and were able to bring it along in the raft. We pulled over during our rafting experience and had a picnic in the boat. Very Cool memory. Saturday we drove to Hiawassee GA. We spent the first part of the day at the Marina water playground and rented a boat for the second half of the day. We tubed and rode the Chatuge Lake. Beautiful scenery. We cleaned that evening and got an early start on the road Sunday. Ellijay is a perfect location to post up and drive to all other places of interest. This house has a perfect blend of 'things to do at home'. The river is perfect watching and sitting, pond fishing (catch and release), cooking out, hot tub (with tv), porch sitting, huge FLAT yard for corn hole and playing catch. Perfect setting!
