Escape to the serene beauty of Ellijay, GA, with this fantastic two-bedroom, two-bath cabin retreat nestled right on the banks of the picturesque Coosawattee River. This cozy getaway is perfect for families, couples, or friends seeking a blend of adventure and relaxation. With direct access to the river, you can fish, swim in the natural swimming hole located in your own backyard, float the day down the river, or simply roam the nearly two acre yard. Floats may be put in the river at the River Park Pavilion which is located approximately 1 1/2 miles north on Hwy 5 and ends at the rock steps at the Canoe House. This journey takes around 90 minutes.

The cabin features a fully equipped kitchen, an ensuite master bathroom, and a second full bath that doubles as a laundry room, making it ideal for longer stays. Enjoy a river view from every bedroom! Sip your morning coffee on the deck while soaking in the stunning river views, or take a leisurely stroll down the private steps to the water for a day filled with kayaking, tubing, or simply unwinding by the riverbank.

This dog-friendly retreat is designed for comfort and convenience, offering amenities such as central AC, a gas fireplace, and a variety of board games for family fun. With six river floats and life jackets provided, you’ll have everything you need for a memorable outdoor experience.

Located in the heart of North Georgia’s outdoor paradise, this riverside gem is less than two miles from local restaurants and shopping in downtown Ellijay where you will find many quaint shops and outdoor rooftop dining. Hike the Amicalola Falls in nearby Dahlonega, GA, or the historical landmark Bear Creek Trail in Ellijay to see the 2nd largest Gennett Poplar in the state of GA. Whether you decide to hit these nearby trails or just enjoy a peaceful day by the water, this cabin is the perfect base for your mountain getaway. We had a great time at the cabin and on the river. The cabin was clean, just as described and the location was amazing. Private, right on the river but only a few minutes from everything you may need in town. We would love to stay again for a longer time.
