  • Summary:

    Coosawattee Cabin - pool, gym & tennis - fireplace, fire pit & central AC



    The Space:

    Part of the amenity-rich Coosawattee River Resort, this modern cabin is perfect for friends and family. Sip morning coffee on the picture-perfect front porch or curl up with a good book in the sunroom. Host a cookout on the patio then gather round the firepit as the stars come out!



    Open and inviting, the three-level layout provides all the comforts of home. Relax and restore in one of four plush bedrooms, or kick back in the loft (open to the great room below). Central AC and a private washer/dryer add convenience to your stay.



    Vaulted ceilings soar in the spacious great room and plush primary suite. Whip up delicious dishes in the sparkling full kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and lots of handy extras. Cozy up by the gas fireplace for movie nights or board games with the whole group.



    Located off the Eagle Mountain Gate, the Coosawattee Rec Center provides family-friendly amenities like an all-season pool, gym, and miniature golf!



    The resort has updated how guests gain access to the amenities on site. The guest will be responsible for purchasing amenity passes at the POA office. Monday-Saturday 9 am- 5 pm. Amenity passes are $59 per card. Each card allows 4 guests to use the amenities during the reservation dates. The POA only takes checks or money orders for payments.



    The outdoor pools are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day only.



    Fireplaces are operable from October 1st – April 15th only.

Family girls trip

Everyone front the tens to the great grandma traveled together for a relaxing getaway. It was nice and quiet. Very clean. We enjoyed it greatly and recommend this house.

Fall colors retreat

Went for a few days to north GA to see the leaves change colors and had a great time. Home was clean and spacious, with many amenities for a multi-day stay. Location was good. WWould definitely consider

Huge space, lots of bedrooms and activities. We enjiyed the spacious kitchen and livingroom and the long balcony. We played hide and go seek with the whole fam and it was great. Easy to get to and parking space enough for several cars.

Trip with the Guys

9 of us guys got together to hangout and have a chill weekend. Absolutely perfect place to be with your friends or family and just hangout. The rec is really fun and the staff are super nice. The house has a lot of amenities and things to keep everyone busy. Very comfortable and clean place to stay. Highly recommend. It is also not a tight squeeze for a group of 9 or 10.

It's the little things that count

The house was very clean. The beds were so comfortable. The kitchen utensils plentiful and like new condition. Pump hand soap at every sink, extra dishwasher packs, even real salt and pepper shakers. The deer came to visit each morning. Lovely neighborhood.

Beautiful Area

The area was beautiful. Lots of deer that come right up to the porch. The house is not as big as it appears in the pictures. It will sleep ten but no way can ten people gather in the living/kitchen area comfortably.

Awesome Retreat!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our only drawbacks were probably on us. We had a hard time figuring out which light switch worked what and the beds has a sheet and summer comforter, not really warm enough for December. We got in late Friday night after a wedding and probably just didn’t look hard enough. It was a great place. If we make it back that way, we would definitely book this place again!

The space was roomy and comfortable. If you want to cook, bring your own cookware because the set here was beat up, dirty and in very bad shape. Also, had issues with a toilet running constantly in the master and it wasn’t clear how to get this repaired. Also, suggest that the dozens of light switches be labeled to help cut down on light switch bingo.

Perfect vacation spot!!

We absolutely loved our time staying at this cabin!! We had 2 families, with a total of 4 young kids, and we had plenty of room! The rooms are very spacious and the open floor plan with the back patio makes it feel even bigger. What we enjoyed most about this cabin is that while it was quiet and really felt like a secluded location, we were close enough to a grocery store, restaurants/bars, and were able to spend some time exploring downtown Blue Ridge! The kids loved the games that were available to play with, and making s’mores in the back yard. Truly the perfect vacation spot!! I highly recommend this cabin for bigger groups and/or families!!

Beautiful cabin

The cabin was beautiful. Overall pretty clean. There were some things that could have been cleaner. I did have to contact vacasa to change guest list, which was an unpleasant experience. Took 2 conversations to get it sorted out. Everything else was pretty smooth.

Nice Home

This home is very spacious, so many doors twist and turns but overall great for large groups. It was clean and smelled really nice. The deers was a nice addition to this beautiful property. The Downside is the garage and rooms downstairs were extremely cold and even with the heat all the way up it never really warms up and lastly (this part has no reflection on the property owner or property manager) The caucasian gentleman working the gate was extremely rude to all of us, so my advice to guest of color is to beware of that.

Nice location but missing a few key items

Home is very clean in a nice location. So nice to see the deer out front of home each morning. The beds were absolutely HORRIBLE - there were 6 adults and all of us were complaining about how uncomfortable the beds were. One couple even purchased an air mattress to sleep on after 2 nights of sleeping on the beds. There is no lock on the bathroom in the living area so that makes it interesting to have privacy. Pots/pans need to be updated.

Fantastic get away!

This is a great new listing! It was very easy to find and paved roads all the way to the cabin. Located just minutes from downtown Ellijay. Downtown was adorable, with lots of shops and great places to eat. This cabin has all new furniture, bedding, and an updated kitchen, everything is new! The owners have really gone all out! A very clean and inviting cabin! There are some fun family games, TV's in most bedrooms. Within the first couple of hours of arriving, a family of deer roamed right through the front yard. We found it so truly relaxing at the Deer Run Retreat. Checkout was simple and the owners were very responsive! Don't miss out on this great spot!
