Tranquillo cottage sul lago recentemente rinnovato con il suo molo e galleggiante galleggiante. Goditi il nuoto, il kayak e il paddle boarding. Sito appartato con 150 piedi di costa.

Situato sul bellissimo stagno di faggi. Sulla riva, goditi il sonno sull'amaca o rilassati nella buca per il fuoco all'aperto. Ascolta le chiamate del lunatico e goditi le anatre mentre nuotano vicino al cottage. Bel portico per quei giorni di pioggia. Ti godrai ogni minuto e non vorrai mai andartene!

Porta la tua barca per la pesca, il tubo e lo sci d'acqua sul lago. O semplicemente goditi i kayak e le tavole da paddle forniti. Il litorale sabbioso del fondale scende rapidamente in acque profonde a pochi metri dal bordo. Acqua molto chiara che puoi vedere a circa 20 piedi o più.

Ottima posizione, può nuotare in un bellissimo lago fresco e ancora abbastanza vicino per trascorrere la giornata ad Acadia e Bar Harbor. Entrambi si trovano a circa 50 minuti di distanza.

Beech Hill Pond è lungo 4 miglia e 5, largo mezzo miglio e profondo fino a 104 piedi. Trote, salmoni e altre specie di pesci sono state osservate nel lago. Le aquile calve si possono vedere a caccia proprio di fronte al cottage. Ne abbiamo visto uno pescare un grosso pesce proprio di fronte a noi. I Loon sono prevalenti sul lago e si sentono chiamare nella notte nell'aria calma e tranquilla.

I pesci trovati in Beech Hill Pond includono salmone, trota iridea, trota di lago, trota di ruscello, spigola e molti altri. La più grande trota di lago nel Maine fu catturata sul lago nel 1958. Pesava 31. 5 sterline.

Si dice che Beech Hill Pond sia una delle "migliori scommesse per la trota di lago Maine" di Tom Seymour. Non è possibile pescare dalla riva del lago, anche se la pesca può essere praticata sul lago.

This was the best place I could have chosen!! So quiet, beautiful, comfortable, clean, relaxing!! It was great to get away from the crowds in Acadia! We spent more time on the lake! Loved the camp fire, kayak, paddle board, lions, barred owls, swimming in the clear water and soaking in the sun!!

It was wonderful!

We loved this place! It was so cozy! It has everything you need and you could stay in and find plenty to do. However, we were there to visit Acadia National Park so we didn’t get to spend as much time there as we would have liked to. Wonderful hosts as well! We would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful week on the water

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cabin on the pond, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views. The cabin is perfectly situated, allowing us to soak in the beauty of the water and surrounding nature. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. We truly appreciated the cozy atmosphere and the thoughtful touches throughout the cabin. Washer/dryer was an added bonus! One of our favorite aspects of the stay was the fire pit. We spent our evenings gathered around the fire, sharing stories and making memories under the stars. It was the perfect way to end each day. Overall, this cabin provided a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We left feeling refreshed and full of cherished memories. We can’t wait to return!

Lovely Lake Getaway

The house has been very nicely remodeled and is well appointed. Beds and couches were comfortable, views of the lake were spectacular, kitchen had everything we needed. Although the lake is very densely developed, this cottage is well screened from its neighbors and the lake was surprisingly quiet. There were some motor boats, but none were annoying. A cormorant visited daily and once a bald eagle circled in front of the cottage and plucked a fish out right in front of us. We enjoyed kayaking, SUP boarding, and swimming, as well as walking on the lake road. I highly recommend this lovely lakeside rental!

Gorgeous

We loved staying at the camp! Everything we needed was provided, more than we expected. Sunrise was absolutely beautiful every morning. We used the kayaks and paddle boards, rented a pontoon boat for a day. We are in most nights and had great supplies for cooking. Great fire pit with gas grill. If I ever get back to Maine I will definitely rent here again.

A Very Peaceful Place

This is a very peaceful place! The cottage had everything you might need. My teens enjoyed the provided paddle boards. My husband set up his work laptop in the front bedroom and enjoyed the beautiful views while he worked. I loved listening to the sound of the water on the shore. Would love to return someday.

Beautiful Quiet Cabin

We had a wonderful 4 night stay. The location is definitely remote but the lake is so peaceful and quiet. Internet was strong and we had everything that we needed. Cabin was clean and comfortable.

Tranquil Lakeside Cottage

We wanted a cottage a bit away from the bustle of Bar Harbor as a hub to explore Acadia and this fit the bill. The Cottage is clean, well appointed and appears to have been recently renovated. Located about 30 mins from Ellsworth and 1 hour from Acadia, it was far enough away from the Columbus Day crowds. Ellsworth is good size (~8K residents) has several restaurants and a small downtown. There is also a well-stocked general store in Otis about 10 minutes away. We had a wonderful time just hanging at the cottage and exploring the area.

A peaceful great time!

We spent a week at the house on Beech Hill Pond. Our stay consisted of two couples and there was plenty of room for us all. The house comes very clean, very well equipped and we were able to sit (hang out) both inside and outside. We utilized the bbq and the bonfire pit. The house is located just 20 minutes from Ellsworth and about 45 minutes from Bar Harbor. There is plenty to do both at the house, on the lake, and within a short distance of the house. This is our second stay at this house and we are looking forward to returning. Veena the owner was great and easy to keep in contact with.

My Favorite Place to Stay

My family had an amazing time at this cottage. The lake is beautiful, and the cottage is clean and well equipped. It was an absolute dream vacation for us, and we cannot wait to come back next summer. We love it there. Thank you for such an awesome vacation!

Thoroughly enjoyed our week stay. Accommodations were just as described. Clean, well appointed. Had everything we needed. Hosts responded to questions immediately. Would highly recommend for quiet relaxing vacation but easy drive for hiking Acadia and Bar Harbor jaunts.

This on one of the best vacation escapes

Had our 31st anniversary and decided to stay at some far remote and calm place. It did it !!! One of the best places we've stayed so far, and the whole time was spend enjoying every moment of it ! As other reviews have - the area and the cottage are a great fit to off season travelers. When we wanted to extend our stay by one extra night Veena was so nice accommodating it. Wonderful camp on the water!

Clean and modern cabin on an absolutely beautiful property! Nice kayaks and paddle boards to use. Screened in porch. Campfire. All simply wonderful. Sitting by the water at dusk listening to the loons was enchanting. Great hiking nearby, Eagle Bluff was as amazing as Acadia with no tourists!

An excellant time

We enjoyed our stay immensely and are looking forward to staying again. The house was just the right size and was recently redone. It was very clean and came very well stocked, we didn't have to bring a thing! The cabin is in a great serene location and was perfect for us. Veena was very helpful and was a great host!

Nice house on a really nice little lake

We enjoyed our time in the house. The property was extremely clean and the air conditioning in the house is a nice touch, that out of the ordinary in this part of Maine. The lake and lake access are excellent.

Beautiful property on a beautiful lake.

The house is terrific - well decorated, and well stocked with just about anything you could need. We like to cook (yes, even on vacation) and the kitchen did not lack anything we could have wanted or needed for tools and dishes. We even entertained and had plenty of everything. Veena is very responsive to emails with answers to questions. We would definitely stay here again!
