“For a budget hotel (although I did stay in a Premium room) the room was really quiet and the bed was large. I slept really well. Lovely shower, fun design details - painting, large lamp, coffee machine. The room felt spacious. I’d stay again.”

“Good transport links. Room very clean. Staff exceptionally helpful. Does not do breakfast but sister inn close buy and plenty cafes nearby eg Starbucks . Only there for short while but hope to return and will stay again. ”

“We had a wonderful time at the Old Church Farm. The grounds are very green and peaceful. Very comfortable beds and great hosts! A gem in the area. Do not skip on the breakfast! a fantastic experience”

“Jonny, the host was friendly, courteous and very helpful. Cannot be faulted. Room and en suite basic, but bed clean and comfortable. Plenty of storage drawers, small table and chairs a nice touch. Shower room small but clean, with good shower pressure. Although above a pub, the rooms are unexpectedly quiet. Budget-friendly - if you want all the “bells & whistles”, then you’d have to pay much more for a room. Well worth the money.”

“A lovely little apartment right in the centre of Clifton village. Very cosy and well maintained. My only complaint would be there is no "Convenient and secure on-site parking, a rare amenity in the area", as described when booking. There is on paid on street parking but you have to arrive after 5pm to pay for all night parking. Other than that I would recommend. ”

“The truest test of a review is would we stay there again? The answer to that is sadly a no. Nothing particularly wrong, just not really a good value all things considered in the end. The property is well positioned in the city for access to grocery, chain restaurants, coffee houses and the #8 bus. There is a busy street, particularly popular on weekends nearby. “The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off.
