Casa dos Paquetes and Casa do Ferrador, located in Alto Alentejo, in the center of the village of Terrugem - Elvas, arose from the idea of ​​restoring the house of the current owner's paternal great-grandparents. During the restoration, care was taken to maintain the original design so as not to distort the original solution. The stone and "brick" walls, as well as the flagstone floors and wooden ceilings, were meticulously preserved. Casa dos Paquetes consists of a living room and an air-conditioned entrance hall with exposed "brick" walls and typical wooden ceilings. Whether you choose to stay at home on warmer or colder days, you can enjoy a welcoming atmosphere. Why not watch television, read a good book, or access the internet via the wireless network? The air-conditioned dining room also meticulously preserves the original design. Stone walls and flagstone floors, where a traditional floor fireplace is essential for naturally warming the house on cold winter nights.
