Sound of the Sea is a gated, ocean front, family friendly, community with Security, multiple pools, tennis courts, and beach boardwalks for an easy stroll to the wide sandy beaches of Emerald Isle. Located just a short distance from Salty Pirate Water Park, Putt-Putt golf, coffee shops, restaurants, & grocery stores. All the amenities of home! This home has almost everything you'll need for a wonderful summer vacation. Fully stocked kitchen, games, TV's and washer/dryer, Beach Chairs, Beach Cart and Beach toys.

Cleanliness is important and…It was very clean. All appliances were up-to-date.Great communication. Very convenient for our needs. Keep in mind the spiral staircase plus a pet gate attached to them may be a trip hazard.

Rating 4 out of 5 starts:We had a nice stay overall! The host was friendly, responsive, and provided clear instructions, which made check-in very smooth. The location was great and we appreciated how organized the house was — the labeled cabinets were especially helpful. Definitely not for anyone who can’t do a lot of stairs. There are a few small maintenance items that could use attention, but nothing that took away from our trip. Overall, it’s a comfortable home with a lot of potential, and we enjoyed our time here!

The condo was exactly as the pictures showed. It was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The owner and I exchanged several texts before and during our stay. She detailed everything we needed to know in texts and messages through VRBO. She was an absolute delight to work with, so much so I feel like we were old friends messaging about our latest vacations. If we ever visit Emerald Isle again we will definitely book the same condo. There was an easy walk to the beach. The grounds were very clean and manicured, just as the entire Island is. So many great restaurant options around, many within walking distance, bike or golf cart ride. Highly recommend staying here.

Great beachy condo, short walk to beach and 2 pools. We loved our stay with Laurie. The condo was just the right size for a family of 4 and centrally located to all of Emerald Isle. Having access to a fully stocked kitchen and washer/dryer made life with kiddos easy. Check in/out instructions were clear and easy. Beds were very comfortable! Balconies were great too. Bring your own sheets/towels and prepare for stairs but totally worth it! Thanks Laurie-we will be back soon!

Fantastic rental! Clean, well-equipped , outstanding views, well-maintained 2 pools. Great location - a few minutes walk to the ocean, walking distance to groceries, restaurants, and ice cream. This rental is ideal for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

Great space just steps from the beach!!!

We had a great time at “A Lil Nauti”. Just steps from the beach, had everything we needed for the beach, fully stocked kitchen and the hosts were great with whatever we needed throughout the stay. I didn’t know that we needed to supply our own sheets/ towels etc; it was listed at the very bottom of the listing and was not apparent when first detailing the listing. I didn’t love that part (felt like a lot of work for us). But, there were provided options to pay extra for someone to bring/ clean up sheets. Loved the location and the property owner/ manager (Laurie) was great with communicating and helping with anything we needed. It was also very clean and cute!

Very nice condo with a short walk to the beach. The pools were very clean and well maintained. The spiral staircase was a pain but overall it is a very nice condo in a quiet neighborhood.

Our grandson and family live out by swansboro. We do our best to come see them once or twice a year. This location was nice with the ocean and 2 pools. Also very close to many things you would want or need. Hosts are very easy to get ahold of. Quite pleasent.

Very nice place to stay in Emerald Isle

We spent a short off peak weekend in Emerald Isle. The condo was very nice and looks like the pictures. On the smaller side but its two levels and plenty roomy enough for just the two of us. It is in a great location, within short walking distance to the beach, grocery store, restaurants, and shopping. We also chose to walk to the pier which was very manageable.The owner communicated well and seemed very nice. There are a lot of rules and instructions to follow, but i imagine that is similar to many places. Also the cleaning fee, plus insurance, plus VRBO fee are annoying, especially for an offseason stay with limited amenities. Nonetheless we had a loveley time and stay

Had a great trip!

Tranquil serenity!

Sunrises and sunsets are beautiful from the balconies or the beach! The decor with beach theme throughout was adorable. We walked down the beach for lunch by the pier. Our host was very thorough and communicated well. Giving suggestions for area places to visit too. I recommend this location to anyone looking to get away from it all!

Laurie, I waited to write this, but when you gave it a five star I knew I had to respond. Wednesday was a day of the condo being worked on, front door blocked with ladders and people and debris falling down on us when we left and came back. We have pictures. Wonderful Getaway

The location is convenient to many restaurants, grocery store if youvm forgot something and pharmacy. The view is nice. We stayed during the winter, making it nice and quiet just the way we like it. Owner was prompt to answer any questions I had prior to arrival.

We had our family vacation here and it was beautiful. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate because of hurricane Debby so hoping to go back. Our host was so nice and stayed in touch with us to make sure everything was going ok and we were all safe.
