Welcome to your Perfect Sound! This charming single-story home offers a cozy coastal getaway for families, friends, & pet lovers alike. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, this home will sleep up to 6 people.

Golf cart provided for easy access to the public beach access with golf cart parking (1 mile) or short trip to Cedar Street Park for easy sound access. Golf cart drivable or walkable to many restaurants and shopping.

Step inside to discover a warm and inviting living area, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventuring the Crystal Coast. The open floor plan creates a seamless flow between the living room, dining area, and kitchen, making it an ideal space for socializing and creating lasting memories.

🐾 PET POLICY 🐾
It is our pleasure to welcome your furry friend to the coast.

— Dogs ONLY (no cats)
— Two (2) dogs max, 80 lbs. max weight per dog
— Non-aggressive breeds only (Pit Bull, Doberman Pinscher, Rottweiler, and German Shepherd breeds are not allowed)
— Pets must be current on vaccines and flea meds.
— NO PETS ALLOWED ON FURNITURE!!
— Pets CANNOT BE LEFT UNSUPERVISED and must be crated when the pet owner is not present.
— Guests MUST CLEAN UP ALL PET WASTE. Place all pet waste bags in the trash can outside. **If there is dog waste left in the yard, the guest will be charged an excessive cleaning fee.**
— Guests will be held accountable for their pet, and any DAMAGES to the property will be charged to the guest.
— ***Do NOT sneak in your pet without paying the pet fee. If you do NOT pay the pet fee before check-in and are caught with a pet on the premises, your lease will be terminated immediately WITHOUT a refund.

⭐️ GOLF CART POLICY ⭐️
4 Passenger Golf Cart is included with your stay. Enjoy driving the golf cart to the neighborhood beach access, the Cedar Street Park and water access, and many other local restaurants, shops, and attractions.
— A signed Liability and Waiver Agreement is REQUIRED to have access to the golf cart for your stay.
— You must be 25 years of age to operate the golf cart as well as sign a liability and waiver agreement, provide drivers license, and insurance information. This is REQUIRED.
— Only the individual(s) who sign the liability and waiver agreement and also provide drivers license and insurance information are eligible to operate the golf cart. No exceptions.
— Rules are provided as well as directions and operating instructions.
— Failure to adhere to the rules and obligations laid out in the Golf Cart Liability and Waiver Agreement, may result in termination of rental lease.
— $100 fee for missing golf cart key card. You MUST return the key to the safe and lock it prior to departure.

**We ask that all Guests are registered and that the Vacation Rental Agreement has been acknowledged prior to receiving access code to rental. **

PET POLICY: Pets are allowed for an additional fee of $75 per animal. Select the add-on for the pet fee/per pet when making your reservation. Be respectful of the property inside and out and remove all pet waste from the yard. Excessive uncleanliness will result in a fine in an amount to be determined by the host.

ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS/DISCLOSURES

a. Rearranging the furniture is not permitted nor is moving indoor furniture outside.

b. Local telephone service is not provided

c. Wireless Internet is provided by the Property Owner. Please note: Refunds will NOT be given for

internet service outages. Guests expressly assume all risk and responsibility for the use of the internet

Service.

d. NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND PERMITED IN THE UNIT: Guest will be held liable for extra cleaning

charges and for damages involved in smoking inside the property. An extra cleaning charge will be

automatically billed and cleaning fees start at 25% of the base rent and may exceed based on the

damage to the property.

12. Golf Cart: Rules and Regulations
1. Golf carts ARE NOT PERMITTED to be operated on any portion of the bicycle path, sidewalks, Coast Guard
Road or Hwy 58/Emerald Drive. Golf carts are permitted to cross directly over Coast Guard Road or Hwy
58/Emerald Drive so long as it is in a straight line and at a 90-degree angle. Golf Carts ARE NOT PERMITTED to
cross at the intersection of Coast Guard Rd and NC58/Emerald Drive.
2. OPEN CONTAINERS OF ALCOHOL ARE NOT PERMITTED on a golf cart, to include passengers! Anyone
operating a golf cart under the influence of alcohol or other drugs can be arrested for Driving While Impaired!
3. No one UNDER THE AGE OF 18 is allowed to operate a golf cart.
4. Anyone operating a golf cart must have a valid State Issued driver’s license in their possession while operating a
golf cart and must comply with all conditions and restrictions on their license.
5. A golf cart must display a valid town issued registration plate and current year decal on the REAR of the golf cart
and an Emerald Isle Rules and Regulations sticker on the windshield during operation.
6. A golf cart may only transport as many people as there are seat belts. The seating capacity of seat belts may not
be exceeded.
7. Each operator/passenger is required to be properly seated and have their own individual seat belt securely
fastened while the golf cart is in motion. Children who are required by law to be in a car seat in a motor vehicle
are also required to be in a car seat on a golf cart.
8. Golf carts may not be operated at a speed that is greater than reasonable and prudent under existing conditions
and in no circumstances at a speed greater than 20mph.
9. Golf carts may not be operated in a careless or reckless manner.
10. Golf carts are required to be operated in accordance with all state motor vehicle laws, local traffic laws and local
ordinances.
11. Golf carts are subject to the same parking restrictions, rules and regulations governing traditional motor vehicles
and may only be parked in the same manner and same places designated for the parking of traditional motor
vehicles. Golf carts are permitted to park in specially designated “golf cart only” parking spaces as may be
provided by the Town in various locations.
12. Golf carts may only park in designated handicapped parking spaces if the operator/driver or passenger has a
handicapped placard or sticker and it is clearly posted or displayed in the golf cart.
13. Golf carts may not be used to tow another cart, trailer or vehicle of any kind including a person on roller skates,
bicycles, skateboards or other device.
14. Golf carts are required to yield the right of way to traditional motor vehicles.
Penalties
1. Each operator/passenger found to be in violation of a rule or regulation shall be subject to a civil citation and a
fine of $50.00 per violation.
2. Any operator/passenger in violation of the North Carolina Motor Vehicle Code shall be subject to the penalties
and fines prescribed in North Carolina law for said violation.
3. Operation of a golf cart while under the influence of an impairing substance on a public street, road or PVA is a
violation of North Carolina law and is punishable as provided therein.
4. The Town may refuse to register and issue a permit for the operation of a golf cart, or may immediately revoke a
previously issued permit, it the registered golf cart and/or the owner of the golf cart is involved in three (3) or more
violations of this article and/or violations of North Carolina law within a three (3) year period. Said revocation shall
be effective for one (1) year.
5. The Town may refuse to register and/or and issue a permit for the operation of a golf cart, or may immediately
revoke a previously issued permit, if the registered golf cart and/or the owner of the golf cart is charged with
operating a golf cart under the influence of an impairing substance, aiding and abetting the operation of the golf
cart under the influence of an impairing substance, or operating a golf cart in a careless and reckless manner.
Said revocation and/or denial of a permit shall be effective for one (1) year, unless the charge is dismissed or the
owner and/or operator is acquitted, in which event the permit shall either be immediately reinstated or the

Beach vacation

The property was just like the listing. It was clean and the check in process was so easy.Communication was fantastic. We would stay there again. Not walkable to the ocean, but use of the golf cart helped with that.One suggestion...need wine glasses!

Nice place on the Sound side!

This place was perfect for our recent visit to see family. Nice bedrooms, huge TVs, and a golf cart which was really fun. This place is convenient to shopping and the pier although it is on the sound side, which I love!

Emerald Isle Sweet Retreat

We loved the property on Sound Drive. We have a 21-foot boat and there was ample space to park the boat. This was a plus for us. We also loved the inside of the home. It was spotless and spacious. It was exactly what we needed for a short stay in Emerald Isle. We will definitely stay here again.
