“Our experience at Garden Street Inn was exceptional. Situated downtown, it offers easy access to numerous restaurants. The included made-to-order breakfast was excellent. Other guests were quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel lacks its own parking lot, but there is a free loading/unloading zone in front, along with nearby free street parking and a pay parking garage. If parking isn't a concern, I highly recommend staying here. I wish all hotels treated their guests this well!”

“I love Hotel SLO and have stayed there several times. It’s a beautiful property, in the middle of downtown, with ridiculously comfortable beds and an excellent staff. Unfortunately, the last couple times I’ve stayed there have been some maintenance issues in the rooms that have not been addressed. The door to our bathroom was very difficult to slide and all in all everything in the bathroom was loose, tired, and needed attention. It feels like Hotel SLO is riding on its laurels and not working...

“We stayed there prepandemic. The breakfast then was great. Now it's a bag of stuff hung on the door knob. Staff is not helpful. The place needs some maintensnce. Nice area but we won't be back. Too bad.”

“Overall a great option in SLO. Our room was clean and spacious. Breakfast options were good and I really appreciated there was always coffee and tea available in the lobby. The only issue was that the walls seemed thin and we could hear those in the room next to us both nights we were there.”
