“Decent property and room. Lighting in room and hallways is very poor so although clean, everything looks dingy. Hotels should switch to LEDs with dimmer switches - get rid of old lamps and lighting. No comfortable chair in room with 2 queens, even though plenty of room to put one. They would not bring in a chair even though requested. Small TV - everyone has large screen TVs these days. Gym was only treadmills - no weights or resistance machines. Easy parking and accessibility.”

“The place was fine--I don't demand much of a hotel. It is basically a place to sleep. However, more discerning travelers might have been upset by the fact that the supplemental door lock didn't work, one of the shelves in the closed was broken and the one day out of four that we had maid service, they seemed to only half finish the job. They may be very short of staff.”

“We spent the night after a wedding in nearby Northampton. It was a lovely place to return to at the end of a long day. We enjoyed our breakfast the following morning, both the buffet selections (especially the coffee cake muffins) as well as our conversation with staff member Kristen. We always try to support small businesses in the places where we travel and the Dasniel Stebbins House did not disappoint!”

“Most of the hotel has rooms opening to the outside, with a smaller section that has interior hallways. The rooms are dated, but functional. The lobby has clearly been updated, but the rooms have not. Everything worked and the room was large, but it definitely had a run-down feel to it. Staff were great.”

“I was placed in a handicapped unit. Even though I am approaching handicap at 95, I didn’t care for the layout of the unit.”
