Lots of great walks start from near the hotel, including the UNESCO walking trail throughout the Wachau. Great restaurant - and the wine is great. “Eravamo in giro in moto per l’Austria e abbiamo pernottato 2 notti in questa struttura per visitare la zona del Wachau e ci siamo trovati meravigliosamente. La pensione è in mezzo alla campagna a ridosso di un piccolo paese distante da Merz in circa dieci minuti. Le camere pulite e curate. Colazione buona e di qualità. Ristorante buonissimo. Il proprietario attento, simpatico, gentile e professionale parla anche un po’ italiano. Nel nostro tour itinerante per l’Austria questa struttura ha vinto...

“If you want a nice, peaceful, away from everything kind of place, then this is your stop. Up on top of the mountains, you have a fantastic view all around you. It is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The rooms are quite basic, no fridge, soap stuffs, but it is still a great lodge. The owners are very nice and amazing folks who will do what they can to make your stay pleasant. This was definitely a relaxing stay for me.”

“Hotel ohne Restaurant liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Parkplätze im Freien vorhanden. Restaurant Babenbergerhof ist gleich nebenan und gehört auch dazu. Frühstück war auch sehr gut.”
