“This was a wonderful 2 week stay. Mike and Jodi were great hosts and very prompt to assure our needs were met. Because of our ages, we had a problem with the bed height but Mike provided a stepstool and solved that issue. There is a train very close by that provides an automatic alarm daily at 8 am. We ate dinner out or had nuked leftovers so were ok with not having a kitchen. The porch is lovely to sit any time of the day and Cookie, their dog is a sweetie. I can recommend these owners and...

“This is a very nice, comfortable, cozy and clean option for staying in the heart of Gettysburg. We found the parking behind the house very convenient as you can walk to any location in the town with ease- and sometimes it’s hard to find parking. Also the house itself is in very good condition with lots of room and amenities. We never once heard the people staying in the lower apartment. It felt very safe and private. Thank you for opening your doors and providing a non hotel option.”

“It was quite clean. No 'staff' to deal with. Kitchen and bath area quite clean and adequate. I'm 6-foot, 0-inches tall. Shower stall had a direct, overhead 8" shower-head, maybe 6 foot, 4 inches high... would prefer a hand-held shower head, but that's just my personal preference. Otherwise, ceilings in Kitchen and Bath/Shower room areas were quite adequate and could stand straight with plenty of ceiling space. Banged my head pretty well on the low ceiling portion in first 5 minutes of entering...

“The room was very clean, and super close to Caledonia State Park and not far from Gettysburg. It is cozy as described, so on the smaller side, however the price was right and we mainly used the place to sleep and have breakfast only. The host was available when needed and overall we had a great stay.”
