  • Tranquillo e caratteristico rifugio nel villaggio di Empire, circondato dal parco nazionale Lakeshore di Sleeping Bear Dunes. Godetevi questa casa ben attrezzata che si trova a tre isolati dalle spiagge del Lago Michigan. Ottima casa per un viaggio rilassante o per colpire tutti i fantastici siti vicino.

    3 camere da letto, 2 bagni, casa molto spaziosa e confortevole. Bello
    arredamento, molti posti a sedere, un sacco di spazio in ed intorno alla cucina, ampio cortile e quartiere tranquillo. Salotto sul retro con griglia per godersi l'ora legale.

    Un breve tragitto in auto per una passeggiata nel centro di Empire fino ai negozi del paese, ristoranti, Heritage Trail, Empire Bluffs, Park Visitors Center e la salita delle dune. Troverete due spiagge, ognuna con un varo per le barche, una sul lago Michigan e una sul lago South Bar, che è l'ideale per gruppi di persone che desiderano una giornata al mare e una piscina.

    La spiaggia pubblica offre un parco giochi con struttura rampicante, campo da basket, aree di riposo, un'area picnic, pozzi antincendio e darsena e offre divertimento per tutti! C'è anche un parco con diamanti da baseball e campi da tennis pubblici nelle vicinanze.

Second time staying at this house - walking neighborhood down to the beach and well cared for house. Easy to get in and out and modern house with all that you need for a stay.

Great, clean spot

Great, clean spot for a short stay. Right down the street from the cute, local restaurant and gas stations. Just minutes away from the Sleeping Bear Dune climb/ lookout.

It was close to the Empire beach and Sleeping Bear sites. The home was clean and had a well-equipped kitchen. The weather was cool so we enjoyed the fireplace. Very family friendly. Check in and out was great. Empire is a nice town. We would definitely come back to this location. One minor thing that could be improved — towels. Kitchen could use more and bath towels are getting worn.

Loved our vacay

The house was perfect for my family of six. It was clean, cozy, comfortable, and a central location to visit multiple beaches, towns, and hikes. We enjoyed kayaking and splurged at Blu (Glen Arbor), as we spent our 25th wedding that week. We all enjoyed our vacation.

Great place for a girl's weekend, cozy and comfortable. Loved having Lake Michigan so close.

Having the attached garage was a great bonus to a great house. Would love the rent this house again next year.

Property was very clean, which is my number one concern. My only complaint is the quality of towels and linens. The towels are getting shabby and the bedsheets are poor quality/cheap fabrics. But it is a very nice home with a quiet but very convenient location.

Good home met our needs

Nice location, in walking distance to beach for sunsets, close driving to many other fun experiences in area. Big master bathroom but shower stall small. Good kitchen size with all utensils/appliances/cookware needed.

Wonderful experience

Our family had a wonderful stay at The Salisbury House! It was clean, had everything we needed and was exactly as advertised. This has not always been the case with some of our prior rentals, so we very much appreciated it this time. I would highly recommend the property to everyone looking to stay in the area and would not hesitate to stay again.

Empire MI - Salisbury House

The town of Empire was centrally located for the activities we did. The house was spacious, clean, modern, very comfortable and homey. The kitchen was well stocked making cooking in easy since there were few restaurants nearby. The two car garage allowed great space for keeping all our outdoor toys safe. Would rent again

Wonderful stay!

The house is comfortable and well appointed. We stay at VRBOs because we like to be able to hang out mornings and prepare most of our own meals. The kitchen was even stocked with everything I needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Empire, MI is a great location for hiking and this house is a great location in the town - a few minutes' walk to Lake Michigan.

We have stayed here twice now. We loved it. Everything about it fit our needs. BUT…please replace or remove the rug in the living room. It’s a big tripping hazard.

Great family home with Lake Michigan Beach within a short walk

We enjoyed the family friendly layout of this home with it's open concept Great Room and kitchen/dining area. The kitchen island as well as the table provided nice spaces for evening games and puzzles. The kitchen was plentifully furnished for cooking and dining. The main suite was at the back of the home, nicely separated from the 2 additional bedrooms.

Family Vacation

Centralized location and walking distance to local shops and the beach. The house was beautiful, clean and came with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Spacious back deck and yard for our kids to play. There is also a park right across the street. Plenty of space for our family of 5. We will be returning! Also, the management of the house was friendly, easy to reach and great to work with!

Sleeping Bear Dunes

Location was great, close to the visitors center and the Grocers Daughter. The house was perfect for our group of 6 having 3 bedrooms. Kitchen was very nice. We had problems figuring out the lighting over the dining table. Nice deck but no shade. It would be nice to let people know there were pickleball courts as some of us are avid players.

Out of three bed rooms, two beds need to be changed. They are bad and need to be replaced. Otherwise, location is great and host is good.

Fantastic Stay!

Walked in to a well planned living room area with open kitchen and dining. Had a lot of rain but also had a lovely fireplace and perfect dining area. This property is so centrally located, it’s amazing. We went all the way up to Northpoint and down to Frankenmuth. Coming back in the evening to the cleanest residence we have ever stayed at was so nice. Our hostess was quick to respond when I lost the key and we were in the house in minutes. So, to sum up, I’d say cleanliness, location and price will be the major factors that will bring me back again. Thank you for such a clean and convenient house!!

Family get away

Took the family, 2 adults and 4 kids to this area for a few days away. The house was clean and orderly. Everything that was described on the vrbo website was accurate and available. Our favorite part of the stay was the short walk to Empire beach. We spent almost every night there swimming in Lake Michigan and playing on the play ground. You do have to get there early to claim a fire pit FYI. Another side note, make sure to bring groceries or stop on the way. There is a BP with a mini mart on the corner about 3 blocks away but you won’t get everything you need there. We hit up a Toms on the way. There is a market about 13 min north in Glen Arbor as well. Overall this was a great experience! Close to river tubing, dune climbing, trail hiking, and beaches. We will be back!
