“The Good: The price was right compared to other nearby hotels. Plenty of food and shopping nearby. Walmart is close. The room had a fridge and microwave. Staff was nice and polite. Room was simple and appeared clean. Basic breakfast is included. I ate elsewhere as I needed better food for a long day. “Met some friends for a girls weekend and had an amazing time. We all loved the location and the amenities. We did not leave at all. Views of the lake are stunning. It was on a quiet section of the lake and there were no houses directly across. The screen in porch with rocking chairs were perfect for morning coffee. It was also awesome to have a table out there to eat and have space for activities. I also was able to see a blue heron catch a fish while sitting on the porch. The inside dining room...

“Room were dirty beds had mold under the sheets also there was remnants of last guest on bed (blood,trash,foodtrays) there was no clean towels also the office could not provide new ones the next day for lack of laundry room access there was a leaky faucet that was quite annoying and there is a excess of migrants that live on site and are up all night the cleaning crew wasn’t helpful at all they all were constantly taking some breaks on stair wells and were rude enough to not speak or allow...

“Room was dirty and run down. I’m sure they try to clean but it’s beyond the point of ever looking clean. The sheets didn’t fit the bed and the mattress was stained and lumpy. At the least the AC worked and didn’t have a bad smell. ”

“Perfect house for a group of 7 adults. Lots of comfy seating inside and out on the deck and dock. Well stocked with oil, spices, etc. Master bed was very comfortable. Other beds were OK. Dock area is small and not deep water. That didn't matter to us since we went in September. Wifi was very slow but we had 5 people trying to work so more our fault than the house. Overall, an excellent Lake Gaston rental. ”
