The house is located on a braid of the Madison River, below Blaine Spring Creek, only 4 miles from the western town of Ennis, Montana. It's a fisherman's dream, with easy-to-wade water only several hundred yards from the house. The house has a wonderful deck overlooking the Madison River, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and plenty of room to park drift boats and trailers. The west entrance to Yellowstone National Park is only 70 miles south.



The Madison River in southwest Montana is possibly the most famous river in the state, known for its spectacular scenery and exceptional fishing. Both wild rainbow and large brown trout can be caught year-round on the 180-mile-long river. The Madison begins its descent in the western region of Yellowstone National Park, at the confluence of the Firehole and Gibbon Rivers, and makes its way north through the Madison River Valley before reaching and joining up with the Jefferson and Gallatin Rivers to become the mighty Missouri River. From the 50-mile riffle in the Upper Madison down to the more tranquil flow in the river’s lower reaches, anglers can find numerous places to enjoy casting their fly.

Ennis, just 20 minutes to the north, is approximately 60 miles southwest of Bozeman and 70 miles northwest of West Yellowstone. Ennis lies on the eastern side of Madison County in the Madison River Valley. A vibrant community of approximately 1,000 residents, Ennis features year-round outdoor recreation and an authentic, western atmosphere.
