“Salongo and his team went above and beyond to make my family comfortable. Salongo helped me cross a flooded road which was really helpful after my taxi had failed to find another route to the hotel. The place is very nice and cozy for a relaxing stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel. ”

“It was in the main town so local to shops, the staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast could have more variety for vegetarians and it took a while to get toast and coffee. ”

“Set near the top of Lubowa hill, Royal Victoria is quiet and very relaxing with a plant filled compound. The staff made me feel at home with daily chats on my needs (meals, etc). It's good value for money for a relaxing break.”

“On arrival, told no record of me. Price very different to what Expedia listed and I had to pay $40 US cash. Owner says she does not like Expedia, they never pay her. Difficult to get in and out of as gate to property is always locked. Rooms are ok, wifi is good. Just remember you will pay a lot more than what Expedia says, and have the cash. Close to lake shore.”

“WiFi did not work and restaurant appeared non functioning. Booked property because of transport for airport and the care was not working. Took some negotiation to arrange a ride”

“The property was very clean. The water knocked out three times. Twice during a shower. I was able to drain the lavatory to rinse. The poles to hang clothes was broke and the bread was too old for human consumption. The internet failed several times. One should not have to ask for a clean towel. Not everyone has ‘what’s app’ that’s where I failed to respond to check in.”

“This home was very well equipped - gas stove, pots and pans, fridge and freezer, electric kettle, hot water heater. Some kinks to work out such as guard dogs out at night so we couldn’t venture out of the house after a certain time and locked gate so we couldn’t leave unless we called the housekeeper. Housekeeper was available by phone/WhatsApp very consistently so there were no problems. We thoroughly enjoyed a family get away with easy day trips into entebbe to swim and do an airport drop off....

“Excellent service, but it is outside of Entebbe, and the internet is very poor. The host is amiable and goes over and beyond to make his customer comfortable. The problem is you can spend a long time getting there, and a taxi asks 90 dollars to drop you off. Beautiful place overall”
