Review: Disappointing Experience
I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. I appreciated the kindness of the staff who allowed me to check in a few minutes early, which was a nice touch. However, that was about the only positive aspect of my stay.
The parking lot was in poor condition, being uneven and cracked, which made it difficult to navigate. Upon entering the hotel, I noticed the common areas had bars on the windows and signs warning guests to close doors behind them, which created a sense of unease. The surrounding area felt run-down and was filled with transient people, contributing to an overall unwelcoming atmosphere.
Additionally, ongoing construction made it hard to get in and out of the hotel, further detracting from my experience. For the price I paid, I had much higher hopes, but the quality felt more in line with a $60-a-night room. The overall environment was quite shabby, with rooms that were poorly maintained. I could hear everything from outside, and the walls showed signs of inadequate patchwork. Cracked tiles and cheap repairs were evident, and the beds were squeaky and felt low-budget.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. It felt very similar to a Motel 6 in quality, with a parking lot filled with abandoned vehicles and people living in them. For the price, I expected much better and would not stay here again.
