Glacier / Essex Carriage House - 3,2 km da Izaak Walton Inn

Confinante con il Glacier National Park, la Middle Fork del fiume Flathead e la Great Bear Wilderness, questa carrozza è un ottimo campo base per le tue vacanze in famiglia. Siamo a uguale distanza tra gli ingressi del Parco nazionale Glacier East e West.
La carrozza dispone di due piani. Questo piano dispone anche di un bagno completo, una camera da letto matrimoniale e una lavatrice e asciugatrice. Il secondo piano è un soppalco come lo spazio con un letto a rotelle queen size, che si nasconde facilmente nella spaziosa area soggiorno / intrattenimento. Cucina full size che include un angolo cottura con vista sulle Montagne Rocciose. Convenientemente su questo piano è un altro 1/2 bagno. Due balconi, uno coperto con una griglia a propano e un tavolino, e uno direttamente sul davanti offrono un'area relax per il caffè al mattino. In inverno rannicchiarsi attorno al camino interno, durante la primavera estate e l'autunno godersi un falò all'aperto completamente attrezzato. Altri servizi includono Wi-fi, TV e alcuni gestori di telefoni cellulari che lavorano nella zona.

Our stay was wonderful at the carriage house! As first timers to Glacier National Park this was the perfect middle ground location. The property was better than we could have imagined! The hosts were amazing, very friendly and super responsive on any questions we had. The check it was a breeze with detailed instructions on how to access the place - this was great for us because we arrived at nighttime and things were hard to see!

A good decision to go with this rental as it was strategic for both sides of the park. The place was clean and neat. It was serene as there isn't another house close by. When considering this rental, it is important to do research on your needs or wants so that this place will work as a place to stay while visiting Glacier National Park.

Nice house rental

It is a garage converted into a nice living space. There is a bathroom with laundry and a bed room downstairs. The bed a pillows were great to sleep on. Upstairs you have a kitche, another bathroom, a table, and a bunch of couches that you can sit on to watch TV or enjoy the view from large windows. The top does get warmer then the bottom, but the bottom stays nice a cool, so in the summer time it still is pleasant enough to sleep. Wifi is a bit a slow, but that is no big problem. Owners do live on the property, but are very nice and informative (and do not bother you at all).Great location to go between west glacier and east glacier.

Loved this house and property. It was the perfect place to recoup after long days of hiking. The property is shared with the owners but they do a wonderful job at keeping it private. The home was spotless and had all the supplies we needed for the week. Roz was wonderful and met us when we checked in. The home is equal distance from West/East Glacier which was great. We got to watch a black bear stroll through the property one morning while eating breakfast. :) Thank you Roz and Michael for the wonderful stay. I highly recommend!

The location is excellent as it's equal distance between the East and West Gates of Glacier National Park. That is important since the time passes are hard to get at the west gate. The lot is beautiful. It shares a space next to the owners house. They greated us and were extremely pleasant and available for questions. One day we just missed seeing a large bear in the driveway. There was total privacy as there were no other rentals. Entrance is easy access. Beautiful pines surround the property. With an easy access to highway through the woods. The train goes by on the other far side of the woods, but it's quiet and does not blow its whistle. The train was not a problem. The hosts provided far more than the usual one roll of paper towels. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful

This carriage house was beautiful well beyond the pictures. It was clean and cozy. The scenery was breathtaking. Everything that was said would be provided was and more. It was easy to communicate with the owners who gave us a welcome hello when we arrived as well as welcome gifts in the house. I would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful place.

This was the perfect getaway for our 40th anniversary trip. Equal distance between west and east entrance so we explored both sides. Roz met us upon arrival - property was clean - instructions were easy to get there - just an excellent trip.

Making Memories!

My wife and I so enjoyed the Carriage House! Everything we needed was provided for a wonderful five night stay. We loved the decor and the cabin feel. Tucked away off Hwy 2 in just enough woods to get that secluded feel, but still close enough to get where we wanted to go. Roz greeted us upon arrival to make sure our accommodations were just right. A true home away from home. Very nice!

Cozy stargazing cabin

I cannot put into words how amazing our stay was! The cabin is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your vacation to Glacier. The bed is soooo soft, the wooden decor is beautiful, and there are plenty of board games to play while you enjoy the quiet forest. The scenery is stunning. My partner and I stargazed every night and even saw the Milky Way and so many shooting stars that we lost count. Amazing place to feel peace and solitude. We will be back!

Baker visit

My wife and I had owned and managed a vacation rental and we understand the trials of that business and we appreciate every thing they do to make our stay comfortable and worry free. And they did - our home away from home. The first day we had a problem with a flat tire and the helped us get back to our vacation with hardly any time lost. My wife loves a clean place and their rental exceeded her expectations which is very difficult for most to do. At the age of 76 we are knocking off a number of our bucket list items so we probably won’t returned to glacier again but if we did we would return here.

Cozy Stay

Cozy place set back from a main highway/road. Directions given by host to get to the home were very helpful. There was plenty of necessities on the property (towels, kitchen utensils, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, etc). The wifi worked pretty well. The stay was about 1 hour from east glacier NP and 35 mins from west glacier. Very hospitable host, would stay here again!

Highly recommend this cozy haven in the woods!!

Our family absolutely loved our stay in this wonderful carriage house! We were thankful to be in the middle of both the east and west sides of Glacier National Park so we could easily go both places. The space was super clean and very warm and inviting. Roz was always so responsive to my questions - she honestly could not have been more accommodating. One of our all-time favorite vacation rentals for sure!

Nice place.

Clean, beautiful construction, very secluded (but trains passing 24 hours a day only a few yards away). Great place for maximum of 4 people. Centrally located for both East and West park entrance although still a fair drive away. All amenities for cooking. Would definitely stay here again. Hosts very kind and accommodating.

Exceptionally clean and conveniently located to both west and east entrances to Glacier National Park. Master bedroom and full bath on ground level with kitchen, 1/2 bath, and living space located upstairs. Taller folks might find kitchen space somewhat uncomfortable to work in and regular rail traffic nearby are the only downsides to this fantastic home base for a great Glacier NP getaway! We’d definitely stay here again and enthusiastically recommend to others!
