I honestly expected the property to be a little more run down and have a funny smell. But it was AMAZING! Our room was so cute and perfect for our family of 3. We had a full kitchen that was stocked with essentials like silverware and dish soap. There was a small dining table with stools which made it so convenient to eat our own food. The back patio opened up right to the river and was so peaceful. It had a small in room heater/AC which made the room nice and warm very fast. The bathroom was basic and simple. The pool was pretty typical and the hot tub was a nice addition! They had a fire pit with a fire going every evening. Relaxing chairs to sit around outside. They had things available for purchase in the office too like skewers for roasting marshmallows. The breakfast wasn’t anything too exciting, mostly just prepackaged stuff. But it was free. The staff were all very friendly and it was easy to find someone if you needed. The guy with the Tesla and hoverboard just seems like he really enjoys working and being there and is living the dream. They had lots of cute little touches, like toilet paper and tissue flowers, folded animal towels, and a complimentary water with candy at check out. The location is very walkable if you don’t mind a little walk, but we did not. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location on the river. Cozy property. Comfortable beds. A little dated but everything was clean. We enjoyed our visit!

Staff was friendly, and room was nice. They offered free board games, movies, and popcorn. The breakfast was minimal to say the least, but we didn't stay there for the breakfast!

Should make it know that the hot tub is 18 before you check-in. Could be a deal breaker for some families. Also, breakfast offerings were disappointing. No fruit or protein options. Definitely not a reason not to stay here or come back. Lastly, no TV options were annoying, but understandable due to previous storm. These are just the negatives, there were a lot of positives. We will definitely come back!

Sara, thank you for your feedback! We really appreciate the transparency, as it helps us continue to grow and improve our guest experience. We make a point to mention the adults-only hot tub when we make our courtesy calls to guests. Our fresh bananas and oranges go fast during breakfast - I'm sorry to hear you missed out on them! We also sell protein shakes in the office. Following the storm, snow misaligned our satellite dish and we were unable to get a technician out until the following Monday to safely fix it for us. We look forward to seeing you the next time you're in Estes Park and have you stay with us! Thanks again for your feedback!

This is a wonderful lodge resort within walking distance of downtown. It’s quiet, safe, family-oriented, and the staff are all so nice and friendly. We had a great three night stay in one of the lower king condos and really enjoyed the river flowing through the property.

The place was nice and kept clean, cable was nice. The only thing that felt inadequate was the continental breakfast. Which was more of a snack bar than it was a breakfast.

The first night the room only got to 60 degrees. The next morning the office person told me to use the portable space heater in the closet. Finally figured out how to use it and then we had heat. The property is very worn and in need of help. Would never stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The best part was the location - it was right along the river and just a few minutes walk to downtown. The room was nice and clean. The noise from other rooms/guests was pretty loud but thankfully the room had a box fan that helped to block out most of that. The hot tub was out of order the first night (and an indoor hot tub was a big factor in choosing to stay here) but they did have it ready for use the next day. It would've been nice to have a few more options at breakfast instead of all bread/carbs. But overall a great place and the staff/service was very nice!

The location is awesome with just a short walk to downtown. The facility is clean but could be better. This is a good place and was what we needed but was a little overpriced for what we got.

The pictures listed are really good…I didn’t realize this is a motel. You have to walk outside to get to breakfast area and pool. Didn’t bother going in pool or hot tub. Breakfast was prepackaged foods so not what I would consider continental (no protein). Staff was very nice and considerate. It’s fine if you just plan on sleeping there which is what you should be doing in Estes- spend time outside, it’s beautiful!

I wasn't thrilled that my room was attached to someone else's room who had noisy children. I would have prefer to have been made aware. And I would have selected another option. Also a little disappointed at the pool and hot tub hours. For the winter time it would be nice to get in there earlier in the morning than mid morning when everybody is in there.

Thank you for your review! We are so sorry that you were unhappy with the volume of your neighbors while you were staying with us. In the case of future stays, you are more than welcome to bring any concerns you may have to our front desk, and we can certainly try to move your rooms or speak to the people staying around you regarding volume. Regarding pool hours, the number of people using it changes from day to day, and it admittedly has been busier the last few days than it usually is. We hope that your next visit with us is a better experience!
