  • Welcome to The Palmetto- 92 Walk In The Woods

    Step into "The Palmetto" a stunning low country 4-bedroom, 4-bath plus 2 powder bath home tucked away on Walk In The Woods Lane in Carlton Landing where you'll find comfort, sophistication, and southern charm. This professionally designed home is breathtaking with its air of elegance and grace. The wraparound porch is a main feature-fully furnished with a porch swing, cozy patio furniture, dining table, grill, outdoor fireplace plus TV.

    A beautifully curated living area with lux furniture awaits inside the entryway. Guests will love settling in for a cozy movie night in front of the flat-screen tv , which is mounted just above the fireplace. The stunning kitchen is perfectly equipped to prepare fresh meals with elite Café appliances, coastal color cabinetry, beautiful quartz countertops and a working pantry . The large extendable dining table and 4 rattan counter stools provide ample seating to enjoy mealtimes together. Toward the back of the main level, you will find the primary king suite with soaking tub and large shower.

    The second floor boasts three bedrooms with en suite baths - a primary suite with a king bed, a guestroom with two queens, and the last bedroom with a queen bed. A second living space is located on this level with a beverage fridge and twin built-in bunks- the perfect place for the kids to hang after a long day on Lake Eufaula. The 2nd story balcony is the perfect place to relax with views of the lake. The Palmetto is a short walk or golf cart ride away from all the amenities Carlton Landing has to offer. Do not miss your chance to stay at this newly constructed cottage. We look forward to hosting you!

    The Palmetto has 2 guest parking spaces. All additional vehicles can be parked in the parking lot behind The Meeting House, located on Boulevard.

    Golf carts parked at the property are owners use only.
    If you would like to rent a Golf cart, please reserve your cart online through Carts of Carlton at or contact Dr. Doos at.

    All of our vacation rental homes at LakeStay are equipped with bed linens, bath towels, a starter supply of amenities, and a washer/dryer unit for your stay. Guests will have access to our community amenities: pool, hot tub, grills, inflatable water park, and seasonal kayaks-paddle board rentals. Very well stocked kitchen and pantry! Property managers were responsive. House decor was incredible. Fantastic home layout with TVs in every room. Many places to hang Outside screened in porch was fantastic!! Grill worked great ! Most things closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Great House, Good Location, Fair Price, Bad Staff

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house overall. Clean, very large, a bit of a walk from the main areas of town. There were nine of us, and we all comfortably fit.When we called for assistance unlocking the door, the woman on the other end was incredibly condescending (and incorrect). The pricing was fair, but I don't like that the fee structure hides much of the cost until checkout.
