Situato lungo Texanna a Sandy Bass Bay 3, questa casa è una stretta passeggiata per le spiagge del Lago Eufaula e vicino a due rampe di lancio. L'altro lato di hwy 69 è Lake Eufaula State Park con molti tipi di attività ricreative. C'è un grande cortile alberato con un sacco di parcheggio per gli ospiti e giocattoli. Al piano di sotto ha zona pranzo, angolo cottura, bagno completo e soggiorno con porta scorrevole in vetro sul patio. Divano fa in due letti singoli. Al piano superiore ha un'area con un letto matrimoniale e armadio su un lato e un letto matrimoniale sull'altro.

Kerry was very friendly and accommodating it was raining the night we stayed so didn’t get to swim but did get to enjoy the hot tub! The cabin was nice quiet and cozy just want we needed to spend some quality time with our kids.

We had a great experience. The cottage was adorable and clean. We had plenty of room for mom and two teenage boys (with room to spare). Added bonus...we got to meet the hosts and their sweet fur babies. The hosts were very friendly and we plan to return to see our new friends.

The hosts were friendly and very kind upon greeting. Offered amenities such as pool and hot tub right away and were very happy to provide privacy if asked, and were kind enough to let us play with their dogs in the pool. The cabin itself was very clean upon entering as well as cool, thanks to the hosts for turning on the AC prior to our arrival. Very good stay over all, would recommend and would definitely stay again.

The property managers were wonderful. they loaned us some butter and gave us some farm fresh eggs. they were very attentive to our needs and extremely welcoming. The property was clean and perfect for my sisters and niece and nephew to stay. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to "get off the beaten path" and unwind and unplug"! 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Shady Rest in Eufaula! We were only there for an overnight stay and wish that we could have stayed longer. The area and the house were very quiet - our sleep was awesome! We were traveling with dogs; they really enjoyed the calm, quiet neighborhood for their walk the following morning - we felt completely safe walking on the streets of the small community and were treated with a beautiful sunrise over the lake. The house was well-appointed and had everything we needed for our brief stay. I was particularly enchanted with the super cute washcloth display in the bathroom - I'm not sure why, but it made me smile to see so many washcloths arranged like art. The hosts were friendly, but fully respected our space and privacy. We will definitely stay here again if we have the chance.

The place is cute. Quiet neighborhood. The owners are so sweet and kind. There dogs are adorable. The only thing was the floor downstairs was very dirty and there was no broom so I could clean it. There was garbage in the garbage can and garbage under the main bed upstairs. Other than that clean and cute. The bathroom was overstocked with lots of towels and other stuff, I loved that! We felt like in the pictures the hot tub was on our side at our place but it is not. It's on there deck in front of there windows. We decided not to use it to as no privacy. We looked for the pool and it was an above ground little pool. We felt like it was kinda deceiving. Other than that it was what we needed to relax.

Not going into details. I loved the trails and found a great breakfast place. However, the hot tub...which thr majorly of people would like to be private was on the owners back deck. It didnt seem very clean. My son and i sat in the hot tub while the owners large back window was ioen and could see them through it. They had shower curtains hangin around but it would have been even weirder to be enclosed in a hot tub. The kitchen was dirty, floors all.dirty. the fridge had gair and dirt in it. I took lots of photos but not sure i can post here but will elsewhere. I thought this would be a private place but as soon as i started down a long driveway, i saw a man, the owner glaring at me as I drove all the way to the cabin and then stood there watching me get out of my car. I didnt appreciate it and when i voiced my opinion, about all of this i was met with one of them telling me "i wish you weren't here" i was really tired and wanted a nice private vavation. It didnt happen.

Our stay was okay. We left early mainly because the property was a little different than what I thought we were getting. The listing made it seem as though we had our private hot tub area, we did not. The house was pretty but outdated, and not very clean. There was a distinct urine smell from the bed. All in all not super happy with it

This was perfect. The location to our family reunion at Pickens Lake campground was so easy for us. Having our dog with us was a big part of the goal for our stay. The only hotel I would consider does not allow dogs and the security of us at The Shady Rest gave me peace of mind. Our hosts were gracious and friendly. I highly recommend to anyone going to visit Lake Eufala

I loved this place for my teenagers. It’s easy to pick a hotel but teenage boys need nature. They need dirt roads and docs to jump off of. A lake to swim in. A real adventure. They loved the pool and the hot tub. This was just such an enduring experience. While the boys had their outdoor country adventure I had a hot shower and a beautifully decorated home. Beautiful kitchen. Lots of bed arrangements. Don’t let those mini splits fool you - they cool the house beautifully. Keri was so kind and hospitable. So down to earth- even gave us farm fresh eggs. If you are a hotel person maybe this won’t be for you. But we loved it. The teenagers loved it and that’s a win in my book. Praying to see you again next summer!
