    Please don`t wear stiletto heels on the flooring. When using the shower, please ensure the shower curtain is within the bath area. When cooking please use tin foil on trays, Our neighbours are lovely and the road is small and quiet so please keep the noise to a minimum.

Turned up at the accommodation at 10.30 at night with my daughter. The place was not cleaned and male clothing in both bedrooms. When we tried to contact the host at this time there was no response. So we dealt with Vrbo. A difficult communication because the phone line wasn’t very good. They really couldn’t help apart from needing photos to ensure we got a refund. It became apparent at 11.15pm we needed to find somewhere to stay ourselves. Really not very easy at that time of day. We had the stress and obviously the expense of new accommodation. I have to wait 5-10 days for a refund. I asked for some compensation but even though it was not a mistake made by Vrbo the company said I had to ask them for compensation. Truly felt our anxiety over the situation wasn’t taken seriously. When you make a mistake you hold your hands up and do the decent thing. Not the case.
