THE HALE LOFT - A newly-renovated suite in Liberty Emery House located in the heart of downtown Exeter and next to Phillips Exeter Academy (PEA). Its granite/stone kitchen features gas stove, refrigerator with ice maker, and island table for 6. Its private bath features all-in-one washer & dryer, toilet with Toto bidet, and a soaking bathtub with shower gadgets. 1. ABOUT THE HALE LOFT

(1A) BEDDING: The Hale Loft has a queen size bed and 5-foot-long sofa bed. The sofa bed's arms can be easily removed. (Ask about the adjacent Liz Room which offers a King bed, a Full bed, private mud room and a mini bathroom.) Beddings come with pillow cases, fitted sheets, sheets, comforters and blankets.

(1B) KITCHEN offers microwave, frig with ice maker, gas stove with oven, basic cookware, bowls, plates, cups, mugs and silverware. Bring your own cooking ingredients. Ingredients from previous guests may be available but use under your own discretion.

(1C) Bathroom offers all-in-one washer and dryer for small loads of clothing. A Toto bidet has been installed and it offers heated seating and warm wash. Standard bathtub is available as well as a shower head with hand-held sprayer. The bathroom supplies towels, floor mats, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and shoe cleaning scrubber.

(1D) FIREPLACE: The fireplace inside the Hale room is for decoration only! You can not burn fire in it. Our outdoor fire pit is for guests to use.

2. LIBERTY EMERY SHARED SPACES:

(2A) LOBBY is shared by Hale, Liz and Brown. It offers filtered water, instant hot water, coffee maker, tea makers and Keurig. Consider bringing your favorite K-cups and tea flavors. Two lounge sofas and a tall large table are located on middle level. An accent desk with two stools and a mudroom bench are located on ground level. There are slippers at lobby entrance. Everyone needs to wear slippers or use shoe covers upon entering the building.

(2B) PARKING spaces are available for guests to use.

(2C) BACKYARD offers a swing and a fire pit area. Picnic chairs are available as well. Please remove garbages after each usage.

3. WHAT'S AROUND

- Our Liberty Emery House is at the north-west corner of Phillips Exeter Academy (20 Main St).
- Several minutes walk to downtown Exeter restaurants and shops.
- Enjoy Exeter Thursday Market with local farmers’ FRESH produces for half price.
- Exeter's Amtrak Train Station (60 Lincoln St) is a 7 minute walk if you need to hop on a train to Boston.
- Exeter river walk is also right down the street.
- ACE Hardware (55 Lincoln St) is 5-minute walk.
- Exeter Public Library (4 Chestnut St) is a 12 minute walk away.
- Laundry mart is one block away.
- US Post Office (34 Front St) is a 8 minute walk away.

4. PAID SERVICES

PROPANE GRILL can be used after paying a $10 one-time flat fee. Guests are responsible for filling propane available at ACE ($5/gallon) several minutes walk away. Please leave the grill clean to avoid extra charges.

BIKE RENATL - $10/day if you wish to ride a bike around town.

TESLA CAR RENTAL is $100/day including all fees and on-site unlimited charging. Prepay $10/day for tolls & super-charging. You must have a valid US driver license and auto insurance.


ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING is available for registered guest to reserve. Unlimited 220 level 2 charging: $10/car/day.
