“We stayed at this hotel and had a great experience from start to finish. The room was very clean and the staff was excellent throughout our stay. The buffet breakfast was also excellent with a good selection on everything we tried tasted great. Parking was another big plus there was always parking available, which made getting in and out very convenient. “We had an excellent stay at the hotel. The staff were super accommodating and helped me print some important paperwork while I was staying at the hotel. Breakfast was excellent warm, egg, sausages, pancakes, bagels, cereal, mushrooms, and stirfry vegetables every morning. The coffee was amazing. Overall an excellent choice”

“This is a great place to stay if you're on a budget. The King's College campus is beautiful. The student staff are always warm and helpful. It's not a luxury hotel, it's a student dorm with shared bathroom facilities. But it's fine and it's cheap and it offers everything I need so it's where I stay whenever I go to Halifax.”

“My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay at the Lord Nelson Hotel and Suites. Though clearly an older hotel, has been extremely well maintained. Stepping into the lobby with its wood paneling and chandeliers is a bit like traveling back in time to the mid 1900's. It is conveniently located across the street from the Halifax Public Gardens and within walking distance of the Halifax Citadel. There is a surprisingly vast number of nearby restaurants to choose from. There is a parking garage...
