“I like to stay at Holiday Inn Express, they are pretty uniform in cleanliness and amenities. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable,the pool and courtyard were clean and the hotel was pretty nice. However, in our room, the a/c wall unit was VERY noisy (was hard to get to sleep with that rattling!) and we had to run it all night for A/C, there were sheer curtains on the window with decorative curtains that didn't close and we looked at least 8 times for curtains...

“An hour after checking in and going to my room, I was advised that there was an additional $96 fee because my room had been changed from a king to two double beds. The king was unavailable. Felt like a down grade because it was on the first floor and could every step of the people above. Thanks to Expedia for fixing it and not making me pay the surprise charge.”
