Fairbanks River House

The house has plenty of space! Wonderful location on the river! There are a few quirks with the house, nothing to prevent us having a Great Time!

Excellent location. A few minor issues, but definitely recommend.

First time renter, unsure what to expect as the property was lacking reviews but believe this to be a new rental just starting up this year. Our stay broke up a long term stay (work crew?), which was booked after ours. Kudos to the owner for not bumping us to accommodate them as we had booked months in advance. This did cause a quick turnaround for cleaning before our check in, resulting in a few missed minor cleaning/maintenance details, and left us with some confusion over whether or not some kitchen/bathroom supplies were available for our use or possibly belonged to the other renters, since they would be returning. We checked with the host and were assured that we were able to use all items. Smoke detectors had been disconnected by the other renters and appeared to be malfunctioning when we put new batteries in and tried to reconnect the wire harnesses. We were busy with a daughter's wedding celebration so we ended up leaving them and just notified the host at the end of our stay. WIFI password was not on the router, as noted in the listing, but was provided when asked for. Husband is an early riser and was able to watch a beaver in the river behind the house a couple of mornings. This house is in a very pleasant/convenient neighborhood and overall we had a great stay. Would not hesitate to book again.
